We bought this for our 14 month old because I felt the firm newborn mattress was a bit hard for him now that he’s older. this mattress was very nice when we unpackaged it my parents, husband, and myself were all very impressed! It is soft with just the right amount of firmness and was very comfortable when we were all test laying on it. It didn’t have a smell, and the cover is soft and not crunchy or loud like the old mattress we had. Our son liked playing on it before we put it in his crib and kept running and falling on it so it was comfy for him too! Since this mattress he seems to sleep much more soundly and doesn’t cry out during the night or racecar around the whole crib during the night. He falls asleep faster and seems to sleep much better and longer during the night and for naps! So I’m very happy with this purchase. It also works with our AngelCare movement monitor, for those who might have it and wonder if it will still work, our son is a belly sleeper and the monitor really helps me sleep at night knowing he is moving! Not sure if I would put a baby under a year old in it, only because of how deep of a sleep my son gets into. We haven’t experienced the waterproofness of the cover yet though as we aren’t in the potty training phase yet.

My son utterly loathed his previous mattress from the day he was born. He's three now, and for the longest time I thought that the reason he woke up as soon as I laid him down as an infant was because I was no longer holding him, the reason he woke up screaming in his crib was because he couldn't get out of it, and the reason he woke up after a few hours in his toddler bed and climbed in bed with me was because he wanted to snuggle. Nope, nope, and nope. He'd been sleeping through the night on the couch for about a month before I decided to perform an experiment: move him to his bed once he'd been asleep for about an hour, stay awake, and see what happened. I was in my bed scrolling through Facebook on my phone when he woke up. Instead of cuddling up to me, he rubbed his eyes, walked blearily back to the couch, and instantly fell back asleep. That was when I knew for certain that his mattress was so uncomfortable that it literally woke him up, and I knew that I had to order a new one for him ASAP. I spent the next day shopping around online and reading reviews, and settled on this one because it has no inner springs, has a memory foam layer on top, comes with its own mattress protector, is reasonably priced, and has outstanding reviews. My son LOVES it, and so do I. His old mattress feels like a rock compared to this one, and I honestly feel so ashamed that he didn't have this mattress from the day he was born. His old one was given to us along with a crib, and as a first-time parent, I never would have thought that it would be THAT uncomfortable for him. With this new mattress, he sleeps comfortably all night long. When it arrived, it expanded completely almost immediately, I checked with a measuring tape. There was no odor whatsoever. Before I even got his old mattress off of his bed, my son was rolling around on this one saying how fluffy it was. Once I got this new mattress on his bed, he laid there for quite awhile and played with his toys. He never once did that with his old mattress. I am so grateful that my sweet little boy will finally be sleeping comfortably in his own bed. Truly, there's not a single negative thing I have to say about this mattress, and when I read an in-depth review of it online, the only negative thing that the author had to say was about the smell. Luckily, our mattress had no smell whatsoever. I will definitely recommend this mattress to everyone I know who has kids. :)

I’ve purchased this memory foam mattress 6 TIMES now for all my kids and their different beds, cribs, and bassinets, and it’s been nothing short of amazing every time. The dual-stage flip system works perfectly as it transitions from an infant mattress to a toddler mattress, growing with them. The memory foam is incredibly comfortable and provides the right amount of support for growing little ones. It took me some time to read reviews and pick the right one for us. I needed sm withen reasonable price range not too expensive. Finally I came across this one. It came in a huge box, and another smaller box with the packaging. It took 6-7hours to inflate, although i let it sit for 24 hours. No smell. I am impressed by the texture. One concern is that the zipper for the cover is cheap. When I first saw it it was opening on both sides of the one zipper but i kinda fixed it for now.
