I bought this mattress when transitioning our 2 year old granddaughter to a toddler bed. We read the reviews, both good and bad, and decided to take a chance on this bed. It is so much nicer than we expected, to the point where my husband and I have accidentally fallen asleep with our granddaughter while putting her to sleep! We also don't wake up in pain or with stiff joints from sleeping in a toddler bed. When reading the reviews we read that a few people had problems with the mattress recovering from being vacuum sealed for shipping. To prevent this from happening when we got the mattress, we waited 3 days to set up the bed frame and left the mattress on a flat level surface (on top of our bed during the day and the floor at night) in a warm room during those three days to let the springs and memory foam fully expand, which really did the trick. ... show more

We purchased the crib mattress 4 months ago and i was concerned about how it would expand because it sat in the box for so long. Immediately out of the box one side was larger than the other but 24 hours later it was expanded and even across the whole thing. We did let it expand for a few more days before putting it in the crib and it fit perfectly into a standard size crib. It is great quality for the price and it doesnt make any noise at all when pushing on it. The firmness feels perfect for infants and i dont have any concern for how it will hold up ... show more

This mattress is amazing! It is so firm and sturdy, but also so soft all at the same time. I’m surprised at the awesome quality.. for this price point I wasn’t expecting that. My only comment (and this is me being picky) is that it definitely took longer than it said it would to inflate. We had to give it a full week or so before it took shape! Other than that, we have had zero issues and are super happy with it! Fits the crib well and my daughter sleeps through the night on it.. what more can you ask for 🙂 ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The pictures show the mattress within a couple hours of opening, so it wasn't all the way decompressed in the pictures. However, even at that it was so soft and comfortable. He LOVED it. Really a great investment. I got the less expensive version, I just didn't see much difference. It's very nice. The cover goes over the whole mattress and is soft. It's a really good deal for the quality. You get what you pay for. We were looking at some cheaper spring ones, but you spend a lot of time in bed. I want his to be as comfortable or more so than mine. I want him to lay in it and feel supported, without things digging in his back. I don't want to set him up for spine issues later in life because I wanted to save a few bucks. I would sleep on this. It's very, very nice. I'd highly recommend it. The nice thing about the cover is I have one just like it. They're awesome, easy to wash and don't hold smells. When he flops into his bed, or is moving I his sleep, I can't hear it on the quiet material of the mattress. And again, it's the perfect firmness. It isnt too hard, it's nice and soft, but offers support and a solid sleeping surface. He slept in his new bed for longer than he usually sleeps. That says to me he is very comfortable, and I feel very good about my choice. ... show more

Love the mattress, supportive but soft foam. It's comfortable and my toddler finally sleeps on it. However don't be fooled by the 'water resistant' cover!
