I bought this costume for our trunk or treat that’s coming up. I looked and looked for a costume that has everything together and would be a good fit, as well as be good quality. I was nervous about ordering it online and it not fitting. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with this! It fits well. I’m 5’9, 165ish pounds, 36C chest. I normally wear a size 10 in pants and a Large top. I ordered an extra large based on the size chart. It fits very comfortably. I could’ve even gone with the large if I were wanting it to be more fitted. The skirt is very flowy and thick. It’s like a silky cotton material. The shirt is a soft stretchy material. The turtleneck went over my head easily. It is a great length and it’s fitted, but in a nice, flexible way. Not tight, just right. I think the whole outfit has enough stretch that even ordering a size down, it would fit nicely. The stockings are like a pantyhose material, not like socks. They feel nice. The wig comes with two wig caps. I was most impressed with this part of the costume. It is very full, the hair is silky, and it’s soft. The glasses are not flimsy and fit nicely and the magnifying glass has some good weight to it. It doesn’t feel like a cheap plastic prop. This costume is good quality!!! You can’t beat the price. It’s so nice that it comes with all accessories. You can’t find that with many costumes, especially from a Halloween store! The wig was comfortable and the magnifying glass isn’t fake! I got many compliments on this costume.

It looked super cute and fit well. I suggest sizing up. I wear a medium, but purchased a large. The only complaints I have is that the wig cap didn’t fit very well. If you want to use a wig cap, I suggest buying a pack of your own. Also, the hair from the wig kept falling out. For a couple of Halloween events though, it’s definitely worth the money. ... show more

The top is stretchy, spandex like material. The skirt is nice and comfy. The “socks” are more like stockings which I liked because I wore red heels. The wig is for sure a costume wig which I did not wear. I think this was a great set that wasn’t too expensive and I will definitely wear it again. I loved the magnifying glass as well it was a cute accessory for the pictures. I ordered a 2x. I’m 5’4, 230 lbs. I didn’t have to keep adjusting the fit while I was out, the stockings did not stay past the knees but were still very cute. Of course, the glasses completed the look. When I tell you to order THIS one, I mean it. I ordered 2 different Velma costumes. The other did not even compare. 1) this shirt is stretchy but SOFT. And great length bc I didn’t have to tuck it in. So it was fitted with the little ruching effect over skirt waist. Perfect! 2) skirt. Elastic waist. Not quite a circle skirt, but perfect. Great length. I wore some spandex workout shorts under, bc I wore this to work. But I always wear safety shorts under my skirts. The length was great. Comfortable! 3) stockings. Amazing. They were material of trouser socks (aka thin tights material) which was perfect bc they actually were knee highs! Other costumes were orange socks. This was perfect! 4) glasses. Spot. On. Big, chunky. Loved. 5) magnifying glass. It was real. It was huge. It was needed. Another costume I ordered had a tiny little one. Nope. This thing was adult size. Great. 6) wig. Great shape. Came with wig cap. I had sooooo many compliments all day. Seriously. Rocked it. And I don’t ever wear orange! But this by far is one of the best costumes I’ve ever purchased.
