The first time I bought this, the wand would get tangled in my hair and mess it up, so I rarely used it. I figured out a way to apply it before putting my hair up that worked okay, but was annoying. Eventually I used it up, and after a while decided to give it another shot since it had such great reviews. The second tube I bought works perfectly! Doesn't get caught in my hair at all. It keeps everything smooth without looking or feeling wet or gelled/stiff. There must have been an issue with the first one I bought, maybe the bristles were curved. I'm glad I gave it another try!

Works great! Can sometimes get snagged in my hair though, so I end up having to redo an updo because of loose hair. But it works well at slicking back frizz without making your hair crunchy!
