Both my daughters got married and moved out of our house, and took all of the good hair dryers. I was left with something that I think originated in the 1970s. So this hair dryer was definitely an upgrade for me! I'm not quite sure what the "plasma" part of it does and it talks about ions and such in the pamphlet. All I want is something to blow the heck out of my hair -- so for me, as to its hair drying abilities and functionality, it is great. The nozzle that fits on the front is magnetic (GENIUS!) so it's easily added or removed, and can be turned in any direction. It has 4 temperatures - "none" (which is cold), and then low (which digitally displays to 130-degrees), medium (195-degrees), and high (230-degrees). It also has three speeds for the blower. There is a special inner filter that is very fine, so blowing hair doesn't get sucked in by the fan and caught. That is definitely NOT the case with my 1970's dryer! I was a little tired of the smell of burning hair. Finally, if you press the fan speed button for 3 seconds, it performs a blow dryer self-clean, presumably blowing out dust and such to keep it running smoothly. The only strange thing about it was in the instructions - it says "It cannot be used overseas. It is for Japan only." I'm in the US and I don't know what Japan considers "overseas." Presumably, since it's a small island, everything is overseas? Anyway, regardless of the warning I tried it over here in Texas and it worked just fine. Maybe because there's not a sea near DFW.

I have very long and quite thick hair but I seldom dry it because I don't want to damage it with the heat. I let my hair air dry for a few minutes after showering before I used this blow dryer...WOW! I had it on medium heat and high speed and it dried all of my hair in less than 15 minutes, but the best thing was that the dryer did not heat up the strands of my hair at all! I almost didn't believe it was dry because the strands were still cool but they were totally dry. It is also very quite and I love the magnetic end for the attachments, as it makes it super easy to attach and adjust the direction when needed. I took this dryer on a cruise last week with a friend of mine who has dyson hair dryer at home...she told me that my dryer was pretty much just as good as her $400 dyson! This dryer is great, just buy it!

Buttons to turn on and adjust temp are awkward positions and shut off all The time. You have to hold on very bottom To not accidentally hit buttons. No easy cold shot

I'm very pleased with this hairdryer. I like that it has different speeds and heat settings because between my dog, wife, and three daughters who all have totally different sensitivities and hair types, we need the options. This dryer dries my kids' hair very quickly and is pretty quiet. It leaves their hair nice and shiny. I like the feature that prevents hair from getting sucked in. I've heard horror stories from my wife's childhood about hair getting pulled into a hair dryer, so I like that I don't have to worry about that with my kiddos. Great product.

This hair dryer is an upgrade from the type I've always used. It's light and works well, and I love the digital display and magnetic attachment for the concentrator piece. It's smaller than what I've used in the past, and the smaller size makes it easier to use as well as store. It does have a bit of a high pitched whine but isn't too loud, and it doesn't get quite as hot as I was expecting. The temperature might be a good thing because I don't think I'll accidentally burn myself or others when using it. Overall, I really like this hair dryer and am going to get rid of my old one. I really like the look and simplicity of this hair dryer. Easy to use, and only a few buttons to choose from. There is an lcd display on the back so you can easily see what setting you are on. I love that this comes with a concentrator attachment- and it is a magnetic hold which makes it really easy to take on and off. The dryer has a lot of power, for such a small thing. I wish it came with a diffuser as well, but I knew it didn't when I ordered it. The cord doesn't tangle easily, however it may after many uses as it is attached to the end, rather than the kinds that have the spinning cord attachment. So much powerful in this sleek little dryer!!

My hairdryer was in need of an upgrade. I had an older one that lasted me almost 10 years. I wanted some thing newer and I know that there is a ton of new technology out. I was really excited to try this since i’ve been experiencing heat damage recently and I know it’s from my old dryer. This one immediately impressed me as soon as I open the box. The dryer itself is very lightweight and the cord is nice and long. This is extra convenient for me as I don’t have a nearby plug where I normally dry my hair. Also works very well when I travel to the gym. It was very easy to use, and the interface was extremely cool as it was digital. I was literally blown away! Not only was the air strong, but I was able to dry my hair and half the time. on top of that my hair felt much softer and less brittle. I feel very fancy with my brand new dryer. I wish I upgraded sooner!
