This is a reliable hair dryer. I initially purchased it when one I bought locally was too, too noisy. This one is… medium, normal noisy. It is pretty solid and not too plasticy for the price, and worked well for several years until I dropped it too many times. I replaced it and am still getting reliable use a year or so later. When my daughter’s Conair hair dryer started shooting sparks toward her hair, we ordered a third one of these for her. Although we have very different hair textures and lengths, this works well for both of us. As an added endorsement, my Korean husband just (LOL) noticed the brand of my hair dryer and commented that Jinri is a really good brand in Korea.

I really do love the drying power of this blow dryer! I have very thick, coarse hair that is almost waist length. It used to take me well over 30 minutes to dry my hair with other blow dryers, but am happy to report that I can have my hair dry in under 10 minutes with this one! It really is amazing. Even with using high heat, my hair does not feel as dry (brittle) as with other blow dryers. Pros: 3 heat settings. 2 speed settings. A cool shot button. Infrared heat. Concentrator, diffuser and comb attachments. Cuts drying time significantly. Long cord. Cons: A bit on the heavy side. The cool shot button is right where you wrap your fingers to hold the blow dryer, so I am constantly depressing the button inadvertently. Overall, I highly recommend this blow Dryer. It is by far the best I have owned! I hope on newer models they find a way to make it lighter and change how the cool shot button is situated, otherwise, Awesome!

Ok, I am not one to splurge on expensive hair dryers. My last three hairdryers came from Target, were under $30, and died within two years. So, I thought I would try a little more expensive hair dryer this time. I have to say, this one is really nice. It is very lightweight and has an extremely long cord for anyone who is looking to blow out their hair. For me, the long cord is convenient because my bathroom plug has quite a reach to where I stand to dry my hair. The dryer gets very hot, comparable to my other 1875 watt hairdryers in the past. It dries my medium thickness, shoulder blade length hair in about the same time as my previous hairdryers. I doesn't cut my drying time by a significant amount. Overall, I really like this hairdryer, and my husband enjoys that it is black because my previous dryers were all pink or purple. He didn't think it was "manly" to dry his hair with a pink hairdryer. My only hangup is whether this one will last longer than my previous buys, and only time will tell.

This is a good hair dryer. Dries hair much faster than my old one. Seems to leave it feeling healthier but at the same time it blows so hard that it can make my hair a little fluffy and tangly. (This depends on how you blow dry your hair. If you use a brush etc, it’s probably fine.) Here is the reason I gave it 4 stars though. I have to turn the plug upside down due to the way my outlets are situated. It is too loose. I thought I was going to have to return it because the plug fell out almost immediately. I finally manipulated the prongs and figured out how to plug it in just the right angle so that it will stay. But that is definitely annoying.

Bought 2 of these (one for my husband and one for me) Lasted about a year and started making a rattling noice in both. This morning my husband’s literally blew up. When you shake it, you hear pieces rattling around inside. Will not continue using mine as was bought same time and mine is making that same sound.

First off- I am not one to spend Alot of money on a hairdryer. The usual twenty buck ones were good enough. Not even sure I believed the ‘ionic’ dry stuff. But my hair was taking a beating. I’m soending more and more money on ‘repair’ products. My stylist really pushed a better dryer. I I took a chance. I dont wash my hair everyday but I do wet it —plus the pool. Needless to say, it has been used every single day This dryer really works! Even using the diffuser attachment- my hair dries quickly and smoother. There’s a little bit of a learning curve because it usually takes forever and I have to make myself stop. I can’t believe its done. So shorter drying time, lower heat means my hair is much better off and not frizzy or dry. Definately delivers!

I bought this hairdryer 4 months ago and I am happy I did. I have long thick wavy hair and it dries my hair quicker than average. In fact, realistically, I couldn't ask for it to be any quicker! My hair is straight and smooth with no frizziness. The hairdryer seems quite durable and is light in my hands. The only thing I've noticed is that a layer of the black finish has come off 1/2 the main body of the hairdryer (not the handle) which is strange since I don't hold the dryer from its main body when I use it. So it looks a little less for wear only 4 months later, BUT, I works fabulously which is what is most important. I highly recommend this hairdryer.
