I must admit I initially purchased this hair dryer during Amazon Prime sale. I read the positive reviews and decided "Why not, I can always return it." OMG, aside from the sale price, this is the best thing ever. The blow dryer was not as heavy as I expected based on the size (which is good news when you think about it, holding a heavy object for an extended time is not fun). I thought a hair dryer had to be a little heavy to have enough power to get the job done. This dryer has 3 settings (cool, warm, and hot). Both the cool and hot settings emit a more powerful blast of air than the warm air but even then, the warm air gets the job done. I have a layered bob and fine hair (but still thick) and the warm setting is fine for me. I imagine the hot setting works best on thick, long hair. I have finally achieved the look of "just out of the salon look" I have attempted in the past. There is no frizz and my hair has never looked so shiny (definitely recommend using a leave in conditioner to avoid damaging your hair). I was so impressed with this that I immediately contacted my family about this hair dryer. I have shortened my Christmas list by quite a few numbers as my family was convinced by my enthusiasm and wanted their own. If there is a con, it is that if you have extremely short hair, this hair dryer is not for you. The barrel is approximately 3 inches in diameter, 4 inches with the bristles and would be too wide to use on very short hair.     • Perfect round hot brush!
I started using a hair dryer brush about 2 years ago, and it's made my daily routine so much easier! My hair is long and fine, and pretty straight naturally but it has awkward waves only in the back. I used to blow dry and then use a straightener. This gets the job done with one product and saves a lot of time, and adds volume without having to juggle a blow dryer and regular round brush at the same time. I purchased this particular hair dryer brush to replace my first one, which quit working recently. This one is great, and much better than my original one that was a different brand. The rotating cord keeps the cord from hitting things or getting caught on anything while you are using the brush. The different heat settings work effectively without getting uncomfortably hot. Bristles are firm but flexible and it's easy to remove excess hair from the brush. My favorite feature is the location of the heat settings and on/off button. Most devices like this place the buttons in the same area where you hold the brush while using it, which makes it really easy to turn off the brush or alter the heat setting accidentally. On this brush, the buttons are near the base of the handle, by the cord, so they are really far from where you would naturally hold the device. No risk of turning it off or on when you don't mean to! Its been 5 months and the bristles bend snd do not last. This is my second one this happened to. Otherwise it drys my hair quick and easy.

    • Amazing brush! Dries my hair so quickly!
I was skeptical about this brush, but I really love it After now using it for about a month. It dries my towel dried, thick hair from start to finish in less than 10 min. I’ve tried for years to be able to do the hair dryer with round brush styling technique, and I am so bad at it. But this does almost the exact same thing but is fool proof and so easy…you only need one hand! Yes, this brush is big, but I like it that way because it can hold more hair at a time than a smaller model could. It definitely adds volume too if you are looking for that. The only thing I don’t like is the on/off button location- it’s kind of awkward at the bottom, but this does in no way change my 5 star review. I would recommend this to anyone. ... show more

I have a different one that I’ve used for the past few years so when I saw this one on sale I thought it was time for a new one. It dries well but it makes my hair sooooo staticky!! I never get static but the past 2 times I’ve used it I’ve had a crazy amount of static to the point that that I have to use hairspray (which I don’t usually do) just to take it. A lot of static! I’m talking it looks like I was electrocuted lol. So I don’t recommend buying this even if it’s on sale ... show more

I like this hair dryer a lot. For the ppl who said that it doesn’t dry super wet hair, you can’t have your hair dripping wet (also a hazard).
