I ordered this and put it together without any issues (by myself). I've had myself and my twin daughters on this to test it out and it is VERY STURDY. No issues at all. I particularly like the amount of space underneath for storage. The height is perfect. I noticed a lot of frames are lower to the ground which is something I'm not fond of. First off, HEAVY. Not a lightweight dinky thing. I’m disabled, but I had trouble moving the box inside, had to get creative about how I moved it. Once you open the box, the individual pieces are much more manageable. You might want two people for assembly if you’re not the strongest person. It also helps just because then there’s someone to stabilize while you do the real assembly. Super cheap, and I don’t think I could break this if I tried. If you order the taller height, so. Much. Storage. I’ve been shoving space bags and file boxes and all kinds of stuff under there, and it’s so easy to retrieve because again the height makes it easy to maneuver things. Looks fine, but it will be slightly bigger than the king mattress it supports if you get that size. And those metal edges are not my friend, I smack myself on things like that and easily injure myself if I’m not careful. Solution? POOL NOODLES!!! Not even kidding. Slice one side of them, then wrap them around the exposed metal bits. Perfect size for this use, then you just throw a bed skirt on and it hides that. Then, even in the dark, when you’re trying to stumble into bed for sleep, even if you SLAM a shin against that side of the bed, nothing. Keeps my mattress perfectly level and supported with the many, many slats it includes. No sinking spots, no issues. And it can either fit into an existing old school frame with the headboard attached or it has a place to attach a headboard. I’d buy it again. ... show more

This frame is very sturdy and does not creak (which I was worried about.) Additionally, putting it together was VERY easy. I did it by myself in about 45 minutes. There aren’t a lot of parts, so that simplifies the assembly. Only con is that your mattress will slide a bit, so you do have to frequently adjust it. We like our bed frame it was fairly easy to assemble and has plenty of space for storage underneath and so far it’s held up quite nicely, only thing I’ve noticed is it does start to bend overtime.

I loved it. I was able to put it together as a single female by myself. it does come with the smallest tools, but it is fairly easy to put together and did not take me very long. A word to the wise when you’re doing the first step of the outer frame. Make sure that each side is on the correct side because they will fit together but be on the wrong side. This was something that I did and then I had to redo it, and I was very upset. This was impulsive because I was having a roommate that was unscheduled and I did not have a bedframe. it came in it is sturdy and functional does not squeak and did not slide around on the wood floor regardless of the amount of large dogs, jumping on and off of it. Another great thing is you do not need a boxspring. The mattress I put on. This was very soft and could be folded into a taco, and this still feels very supportive and holds the mattress exactly as it should, and gives the same support, a boxspring would. ... show more

Well made! Instructions easy enough to follow. Nice and sturdy, had predrilled holes so I could fasten the frame to the headboard my husband and I made. Just have to make a wood railing edge because the mattress slides easily on this frame, which is to be expected. Don't need a box spring, you could put one on it if you like your bed super high but it is fine without. Just purchased another one for our other room. Pros: very sturdy, and comes with the necessary tools and screws to put together. Comes in a 38-inch box that can be easily transported and weights 26 pounds. Cons: if it can be called a negative - had some minor scratches from the shipping, but I did not experience any damage parts like other reviewers have reported. Other thoughts: I used 2 of these frames to create a small king-sized bed (two regular twins put together). It fit my needs perfectly.
