This is exactly what I wanted! It was fairly cheap, but was easy to put together, feels pretty solid and fits a twin mattress exactly. I was concerned it might squeak, but it doesn’t (at least not after 3 nights sleeping on it). I like that there’s plenty of room for storage underneath, too. I'm 6"3" and 400lbs. I'm a big man. Needless to say, wooden box springs don't stand a chance. This bed frame is solid as a rock, no squeaks, and with my height, it's nice to sit on a bed that feels like it's made for me. The mattress stays in place really well and assembly was pretty simple and straightforward. The rails fold out, and the ribs simply drop in. Maybe a total of like 12 screws in the whole assembly. I bought a queen size hybrid foam mattress recently so I also needed to get a new bed frame that was compatible with it. I settled on the queen size version of this particular bed frame. Assembly was very easy and I was able to it together by myself. It is quiet as a mouse once I put my new mattress on top of it. I do recommended also buying bunkie boards should you also go the hybrid foam option like I did for the long term as the metal slats are closer to 5 inches apart rather than the recommended 3. However due to the low asking price and sturdy workmanship, I am very impressed with this particular bed frame and can't recommended it enough. ... show more

We've only had this frame for a few days, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up, but so far, so good. It was much easier to put together than I expected. I do recommend having two people, as it helps having someone hold the pieces while the other person turns the tiny wrench (included). It took us all of 25 minutes to put it together. While it's not heavy-duty, it seems pretty sturdy. I had hoped to buy a frame that had the slats much closer together, as recommended by my mattress company, but every frame I looked at, they were spaced pretty far apart. So, I bought a bunkie board to put on top of this frame and that works well, preventing the mattress from sagging. It would be better if the frame's slats were closer together, so I knocked off a star for that. ... show more

Give yourself at least 30 minutes. It's be better if you had a buddy to help but you can absolutely put it together yourself. When it's all put together, it's very easy to move, not too heavy for one person. I don't hear any squeakiness when laying down and it's perfect for a queen sized bed as advertised. You WILL stub your toe if you're not paying attention. be warned, they're studier than they look. ... show more
