I didn’t realize that these did not have the grommets cause I wasn’t paying attention. However they have the tabs in the back that make it effortlessly and quietly slide along the curtain rod. I have changed up my bedroom because I needed cozy because of my anxiety and PTSD so I bought these curtains hundred percent blackout don’t hear any sounds other than maybe just a few honking horns cause I’m near a road, I got myself a comforter with the same coloring of the curtains and my room is so cozy now I have an electric fireplace up on my dresser and now with my sound machine in my room is complete and they are beautiful and definitely quality made and thick and no light comes through. Great curtains for the price, the white is a true white & they are thick with a nice weight to them. Purchased for a problem window that gets really direct sunshine between 12-3. Blocks light, reduces glare perfectly, and keeps the room a little cooler. They come with a few creases but nothing crazy. No smell, looks expensive, easy to hang.

Wonderful Blackout Curtains and Drapes

I bought a set of these for curtains and a set for drapes in Oct 2024. It is a very fine product that blacked out the sunlight and did not change colors after washing. Be sure to use cold water and low heat. I read other comments that indicated that it did not block out sunlight and it had changed colors. It did block out the light so I could sleep in the daytime. Mine were a satiny black which remained so after almost two years of use.

Not thick nor does it insulate from extreme weather but it is a blackout curtain which was what I needed and looking for. Material is soft and the length was exactly what I needed. Our landlord refuses to replace our single-paned windows, so our house stayed at 80 degrees constantly. That is until we bought these amazing curtains. They're beautiful. The exact color I wanted. ACTUALLY blackout. Super easy slide on the bar for install. Love that there's two ways to put it on in case you prefer a different look. They are actually very very soft to the touch. I used the handy chart to help me decide how many sets I needed and what size I needed my panels to be. They're worth every penny. EDIT: My only complaint: The stitching could be sturdier. Started falling apart after a wash or two, but I don't mind mending them. They're great quality still.

Excellent Drapes, Total Blackout, Superior Quality

Real deal. These are 100% block out drapes. As a result, they are also heavier than traditional drapes. If you are using an adjustable spring loaded or pressure rod that sits inside the window frame, please use the heavier one, the thin one made for sheers will buckle. I found mine here on Amazon for like $13 or something. Anyway, I recommend this type of rod because it sits inside the window frame which blocks all light. The ones installed outside the frame that don’t lay flat against the wall are going to allow sunlight in at the top. Ignore your whiny cousin, just get the spring loaded adjustable or pressure rod, whiny cousins know nothing. The drapes will need to be pressed, the dryer will not remove wrinkles. It only takes a few minutes and they are absolutely gorgeous once pressed. I used the second highest setting and steam, NO starch or NO sizing. There are 2 option to “string” the drapes; the traditional solid hole that threads the entire length of the panel OR several wide loops on the back. I tried both and preferred the loops because I felt they hung more elegantly. I did not need to purchase drape magnets/closures, these curtains draped over each other perfectly in the center where the 2 ends met. I’m purchasing another set for a guest room, which is not for my whiny cousin. Superior Quality Product overall.
