This bedframe is so well designed. I have not seen anything that requires assembly with such amazing engineering in decades. The parts fit together easily and align without having to beat them together with a hammer or re-drill holes to get parts to align. Unexpectedly, the fasteners are high quality and screw together with ease. I'm 64 and have bad knees and bad back and I was able to assemble it by myself easily. All tools for assembly are included, however I would suggest you have a 5mm hex bit that fits your power drill/wrench and an adjustable wrench and rubber mallet. This thing is heavy duty and so the box is kind of heavy. I like the 18" height. With a 10 - 12" mattress on top it is easy to get up and down for old geezers like me with bad knees. This also gives you plenty of room to store stuff under the bed. There is a heavy duty center beam support that goes from head to foot board. The cross slats are slightly higher at the center support than where they attach to the outside edge rail. This is a brilliant design because it will keep your mattress from bowing or sagging in the middle which is common on cheap bedframes. The bottom of the post supports have plastic caps so it is easy to slide the bed around.. If you wanted to attach a headboard or footboard it appears that would be easy to do if your handy with tools. I got this to use in a spare room temporarily. The price and quality is amazing. I would highly recommend. For the record I'm not that easy to please so that's why I was blown away by this frame and it's design.

This bed is sturdy and strong, no worries about it bending under my weight. Between husband and I , we have 400 lbs of weight and then our 90 lb mattress, no problem! Bed stays put and I love the height, easy to put stuff under if you like. It was a little intimidating when we opened the package, lots of pieces but truly was simple to put together, the photos show you exactly the steps and each piece is marked. This was a win!!!

Fantastic basic bed frame!! Very sturdy and makes almost no noise! I put it together with no problems. The best part about the frame is the space underneath. This is the specific reason I got this frame - I needed a place to store some storage bins. I get the large black and yellow tubs from Costco, and they fit perfectly! Very nice, very compact, very useful - love it and would buy again!

From the pictures it looks like the mattress fits inside the frame to hold it in place, it does not. Just sits on top. But it is easy to assemble & sturdy. Like the height to store things underneath.

My son put this together for me and was done in under 30 minutes. It’s for a guest room so won’t get everyday use but seems very solid and sturdy. It supports a mattress from a box and sits up 18” so plenty of room underneath for storage.

sturdiness of the platform bed and the additional storage space. I can put storage bins underneath the space is 18" high. I have plastic storage bins for sweaters, handbags and winter blankets. Smaller storage bins for sewing, art supplies and tools. The platform bed was easy to assemble. It was somewhat intimadating at first but the labeled parts were all there and it was not difficult to see how it went together. The best part is the memory foam mattress. Firm and solid. I don't wake up when I shift in my sleep. It is practical and economical.

What I like about this bed frame is that it has support frames from the top to the bottom to make sure your mattress does not fall through. It also has a larg weight capacity so no matter how big your partner is it can hold both of you. It was very easy to assemble and came in a small box that you can carry by your self. It also came with extra screws in case you need it. One negative point is I notice that for my order that there was one defect in it which I had to fix my self which was one of the holders for the support bar was bent but I use tools of my own to unbend it.
