After growing tired of the horrible quality of most windows laptops, I decided to set up a mini-PC system to power my home theater rig. This BOSGAME P3 is very impressive. The stock RAM is OK, but when upgraded to GSKILL F5-4800S3434A16GA2-RS (fast 32GB dual channel), the performance difference was night and day. I'm running games like Elite Dangerous on High settings in 4k and it's smooth as silk. It'll run the game on 'Ultra' too, although it's not quite as smooth. The machine also has TWO NVMe bays inside, and I plan to add a 4GB M.2 drive soon as a dedicated gaming drive. My only gripe is that if I turn my Home theater receiver (connected via HDMI) on after the PC is powered up, I need to reboot the PC for it to pick up the HDMI audio. Not a huge deal, as it boots up very quickly. Overall, incredible value for the money. If you're looking for a MiniPC, this is the one!

The build quality is sturdy and reminds me of the classic black iPhone 11-15 slab style. For ~$350 the performance is snappy and enables multitasking. I chose this for the 16gb of DDR5. As for noise, the fan is audible under load but isn't particularly loud. I also appreciate the variable power consumption of the GPU that ranges from 6w-44w I would purchase again and recommend it.

For a budget computer, this thing is awesome. I use it for Steam to play rocket league. So far no problems. It loads everything at a decently quick speed. Can’t complain

I recently acquired the P3 Gaming PC Mini with the Ryzen 9 6900HX processor, and overall, it delivers average performance for its size. The 16GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB SSD provide a decent foundation for everyday tasks, light gaming, and office work. However, I noticed that more demanding applications and games can cause some lag, which slightly hinders the experience. One of the standout features is the dual NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD slots, which allow for easy storage expansion. The dual 2.5GbE LAN ports, along with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, ensure strong connectivity, making it a solid choice for a compact and versatile setup. To enhance its performance, I would highly recommend upgrading the memory. Increasing the RAM to 32GB or even 64GB can significantly improve multitasking and overall responsiveness, making the system more capable of handling intensive tasks and modern games. The P5 seems like a good computer at a great price ($289). Upon arrival, it would not boot into windows 11, nor would it even boot into bios. Just a black screen of death. After researching ways to change the bios settings, it finally was able to get it to boot. Operation was good. It supported two 4K monitors as a single table top without problem. Boot time was quick. Overall, it seemed like it was going to work out well. 48 days after arrival the audio went out intermittently with a heavy interference sound. After two weeks, I managed to diagnose it as the 3.5mm audio jack failing. - This just outside the return window. Amazon says talk to the seller. The seller glad handled me, agreeing and agreeing to replace it. The seller Bosgames, then backed out of the replacement the customer service representative had agreed to. Useless customer service on top of quite a serious boot bug. Will not buy again from this seller.

I did a lot of comparisons of mini PCs in the sub $300 category and I found the Bosgame P5 to be the best value. The main factor for me was the 2 USB4 ports (which supports transfer speeds up to 40GB/s) and their position on the rear of the unit. Plugging in a USB4 docking station or output to USB-C monitor looks much cleaner being plugged into the back of the unit than the front. Most every other comparable mini PC has a single regular 10GB/s USB-C port. And if a comparable unit does have a USB4 port, it's typically located on the front of the unit and there is only the single port. Also, the included wifi card is an Intel 210 Wifi6E card and not a Wifi6 card compared to other units. I was deciding between the 6600H/24GB version at $280 vs the 6800H/32GB version at $349 and ultimately chose the 6600H as the better value. You can access the internals of the unit by unscrewing 4 screws on the bottom. The main NVMe drive has a metal heatsink attached. The secondary NVMe slot only fits a 2242 size drive, however those drives cost more. It's probably a cheaper alternative to use a 2230 drive on a 2230-to-2242 adapter if you want to use that secondary expansion slot. If there is anything I would dock this unit for, it would be this. Other comparable units have 2 2280-size slots which are more standard. The memory comes equipped with 24GB (2x 12GB DDR5 sodimm sticks) and can be upgraded up to 64 GB (2x 32GB). I am upgrading from an Intel i7-4790 desktop system to this and it's more than enough for what I need and at a much smaller footprint. If you do intend to do light gaming with this mini PC, I would suggest you go into the BIOS (press Delete key during bootup) and change the onboard graphics memory size to 8GB from the default setting.
