Features

  • PROTECTS ENTIRE PLUMBING SYSTEM: This compact device helps protect your home from lime scale and calcium hardness buildup in showers, sinks, faucets, pipes, and hot water heaters helping to improve water efficiency in washing machines, coffee makers, heating elements and irons
  • SIMPLE DESCALING PROCESS: Our whole house water descaler system is not a water filter and does not eliminate minerals like calcium and magnesium instead it prevents mineral particles from sticking together and forming scale deposits without the use of salts or chemicals found in traditional water softeners
  • CHEMICAL FREE, SALT FREE: Our eco-friendly and maintenance-free technology eliminates hard water material build up without the use of harsh chemicals or salt; depending on the scale buildup and age of your pipes as well as the grains per gallon of your water it can take up to 90 days to have noticeably cleaner pipes
  • SAVES TIME, MONEY AND WATER: Our system takes away the need to use harsh cleaners for descaling toilets, faucets, and shower heads and with higher water efficiency results in lower water usage especially in larger appliances like dishwashers and washing machines
  • INSTALLATION AND USE: For indoor use only in homes up to 5,000-sq. ft., handles up to 35 gpg (grains per gallon) or 598 ppm of calcium hardness, can be installed on any type of pipe (up to 1.25a3 diameter) including Copper, PVC, CPVC, and PEX and can be used in combination with filtration systems

  • Seems to work as advertised
I installed the unit in a house that has very hard water*, and the scale doesn’t build up as fast as before. I had a question for the manufacturer regarding an installation issue, but never got an answer back -YMMV. I had to add vinegar to every dishwasher load to control the scale in the stainless steel interior- now it’s reduced to once a week or so. *Southern Nevada municipal water is notoriously bad. ... show more

  • Works well, slowly but it does work
Overall I am happy with it. It is slow to take effect. The winding is a little bit tedious depending on on where you are connecting it in. It is not a water softener so it might not be what everyone is looking for. Pros: Soes reduce hard water buildup Low/no upkeep No special tools needed for installation Cons: It is slow (around 3 months after install and it is still slowing working) Tedious to wind the coil Minor issue is the power cable is only around 3 to 5 feet so you will need to plan around that ... show more

  • Updated review after 3 week usage (+2 stars!) - Yes it does reduce the scales!
As I stated earlier, I came back to my previous review and added 2 start for this product to total of 3 stars. Yes it does reduce the scales if you would like to use this electronic de-scaler to REDUCE the scales and/or improve the water condition. Do not expect this device to eliminate the scale - it will NOT eliminate the scale or change water from hard to soft - it ONLY IMPROVEs the water conditions and reduce the scales! In my case, I have whole house water filtration system, water condition tank and filter tank. The water condition is being improved after going through my filtration system, it is being eletronically descaled by this device. And YES, the scales are being reduced further and I've seen less and less scale on my bathroom's glass shower door BUT the scales are still there but less than before having this device. Thus, I gave this device additional 2 stars for total of 3 stars. I might come back again to revise the stars and review if there is any development of using the device. So far so OK (not so good but OK ok :) ) Good luck everyone and as always "Be safe be well and be healthy" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Easy to install, take sometimes to coil the wire onto the copper pipe. So far it seems to be working. Working means I haven't seen the scale spots on my shower door yet after 2 days installed. I cleaned up scales on my shower door yesterday before everyone in family taking shower. This morning, I checked and there is no scale spot on my shower door! I gave it one STAR as the beginning. I will continue updating next week, following week and week after the following week (total 3 weeks) for everyone to know if this electronic descaler does what it claims to be! Background: I currently have Aquasana Whole house filtration systems 1 x 20' prefilter sediment 5 micron -> Aquasana Water conditioner (it coats the water to reduce scale but not much as I was still seeing spots on my faucet and shower glass door which made me to purchase this electronic descaler in hope to reduce further scales) -> Aquasana water filter -> Post filter 0.35 micron -> UV light then to the house this is where rhe H2Oelitelab Electronic descaler coiled to electronic descale the limescale of the water! It will be taking 2-3 weeks to see the result! I will come back each week to update the review if it works, a star can be added to the review! ... show more

  • It doesn't "soften", but seems to do what I expected it should.
We have fairly hard water. Readings with a TDS meter would range anywhere from 300 to 500ppm. We weren't looking for a water softener that we had to feed with salt, but wanted to do something to hopefully reduce buildup in water appliances and pipes. Decided to give this electronic conditioner a try. Installation wasn't difficult, just a bit tedious wrapping the wire around the pipe the recommended number of times. The remainder of the hookup was easy. After over two months of it in operation, here is what I can tell you. As expected, the TDS readings didn't really change (and since nothing is removed or added to the water, this was expected). The taste of the water also hasn't really changed. The white powdery-looking hard water deposits still occur on shower heads and our refrigerator water dispenser, but they do seem easier to clean up - often only requiring a sponge and water or simple cleaner instead of soaking in vinegar for long periods. Spots still occur on dishes in the dishwasher if no rinse aid is used, but they can typically be removed with a damp rag. The biggest difference seems to be in the amount of soap I use when taking a shower. Almost immediately after installation I noticed that I could use about half the amount of shampoo to wash my hair and soap just feels more "soapy". We are also using less detergent in the dishwasher with no reduction in cleanliness. These are all relatively subjective observations, but we feel that it is doing something positive and is in line with our expectations. Overall we are happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • It actually works!
I was a bit skeptical when I first bought it since I didn't understand the science behind it. Let me start with the negative things first: 1.) The installation wasn't not very pleasant (or fast) - I had to wrap a coil around my main water line, which was very close to a wall, and going around it was tricky. I would definitely suggest getting a second person to help you with the installation, since that coil unwraps really easy and you have to tighten it all over again. 2.) The unit makes an auditable "buzzing" noise when plugged in, which fine if it's installed in an unoccupied room, but will be bothersome if you are hearing it consistently. Now the good parts: 1.) It actually WORKS! Once installed, I started noticing much less water scale built up on my sinks, dishes and shower. Here they advertise that it would remove already existing scale, but this was not my experience ... it just does not add new scale. 2.) Much cheaper than other options out there. 3.) Aesthetically pleasing - it will glow a pretty blue light when working. 4.) Low power consumption Overall I am really happy with this descaler. If you can spare approximately 1hr in installation and can live with the buzzing noise, I would highly recommend it. ... show more
