The media could not be loaded. This was my first time installing dedicated component speakers with an external crossover. I did not want to spend very much money and I am not running an external amplifier for now, although I know this would dramatically improve their output. I am extremely happy with these speakers. They sound great already and will only sound better as they break in. The install kit was straightforward and included everything you would need. I wish the speaker wire off the tweeters was a little heavier gauge. Overall construction seems very good. At this price point, they just seem like a great value. I would like to pair it with a 4 channel amp down the road. I listen to a wide variety of music and these speakers continue to make me smile when I reflect on how badly the factory speakers sounded. The components being separated really widens the soundstage and makes your music feel more immersive. Fun weekend project. ... show more

Excellent speakers, really nice upgrade from factory speakers specially if you take the time to break them in, good base for midrange, very good quality built, even the tweeters are pretty heavy for their size, i would definitely recommend them for anyone who is looking to upgrade their sound system, i bought these to replace factory speakers on a 2020 honda civic lx, they fit perfect but you need to get the adapter for 10th gen civic speaker ring, overall I am very happy with my purchase. ... show more

Nice speaker set. Installed into an older chevy caprice. Removed the 6x9s and added these to the rear seat. They actually sound clear, and crisp, right off the un-ampd head unit. The woofers seem made of decent material, i.e. carbon fiber cone and the rubber. The coil is heavy, and solid and seems to handle the mid-level bass being sent. Will hook them up to an amp and try to squeeze more power from them, it looks like they can take it. Only thing, is it would have ... show more

I use these with a Bluetooth amplifier at work. I bought this because the speakers i was using ($35 Cerwin-Vega components) had the left side surround tear from basket. This brand kept popping up looking at audio stuff and figured why not (had was around $71+tx with coupon at that moment). These are super clear and crisp. Its impressive, truly. But, buuuutt, the bass didn't carry like the C-V's. Its a tighter bass and will probably sound REAL good outside the noise pollution in the shop. I say they're really good, but don't expect a THUMP. Got these to replace factory speakers in a 20 year old Pontiac Vibe. Installation involved no surprises. The mid base speakers fit perfectly using Toyota adapters and baffles. The tweeters include surface mounts and pods, so with a bit of creativity, they should mount wherever you need. The real story is the sound quality. I connected them to an aftermarket head unit with only 24w RMS and they sound amazing. Not incredibly loud but can go louder than I usually listen. The base response is punchy and full. Using the switch in the crossover, you can adjust the treble and the tweeters are bright without being harshly so. With only 24w, there is no distortion that I can hear at any volume the head unit can put out. I think I could easily have spent double the price and not have gotten speakers that sound anywhere nearly this good. ... show more

These seem super solid. Heavy and built well. For some reason vocals are terrible. Instrumental seems great. Running them off a quality amp. I'm thinking the crossover is off. I ordered 2 pairs of hyanka hcp 65, 1 box was perfect, the other box had 2 damaged polk speakers , 2 missing hyanka crossover, and 2 unidentified tweeters, I was suspicious when 1 box weighed 6 lbs and the other 10 lbs, but i waited to unbox it, there were also installation wires missing
