I expected these speakers to sound terrible considering how cheap they were and that they have plastic tweeters. I really do not like plastic tweeters as they just do not sound good or have a smooth response or any dynamics. Now having said that, to get four speakers for $48 that's $12 a piece. In this case I think you actually do get a little bit more than what you pay for. They sounded better than my very low expectations of them. I'm still not a fan of plastic tweeters but at least it's a simple two-way speaker instead of what you commonly see with cheap brands that put two three or four way or even five way BS. The best way is to do just two way plus a subwoofer later. There's no better way to split the spectrum then in three total ways, one for the subwoofer, one for the mids and one for the Tweeter. Anything beyond that is just unnecessary so at least this company kept it simple and I think the proof is in the pudding because it doesn't actually sound awful. No it doesn't sound great either, not like the smooth natural response of my JL Audio C5 6.5" components speakers. The meds on these cheap speakers have no filter and somewhere inside there is a single capacitor on the Tweeter to roll off the lows. I would not push more than 50 watts to these speakers and I believe that's what they're rated for so they don't get very loud and they can't handle a lot of power. For aftermarket speakers they have a fairly small magnet but they're bigger than most stock speaker magnets. The frame is a typical stamped basket with a little bit of curved stamping for rigidity. The frame definitely rings especially when you flick it. If you're unfamiliar with these hallmarks of high-end speakers then you can ignore this and if you're really just looking for an ultra budget-friendly speaker replacement to just enhance the sound a little bit and you want to do it for $50 or less then this I think is a great option. Others have complained about them going out and I have only listened to it for a short period of time to test them so I don't have any long-term longevity comparison. These speakers will never be five stars even with the ultra low price because I think five stars means much more than met expectations. ... show more

Didn’t like these speaker they where poorly made and the sound wasn’t very clean or clear I had to drive all the way up Orlando and found out these wasn’t good speakers wasted my time
