    • This thing is amazing! My kids were oohing and ahhing over the ...
Style: Alto Sax
I am a 30-something who used to play alto saxophone all the way through college. I recently found my old sax in our storage unit, got all nostalgic about it, took it in to get cleaned and fixed up and discovered I can still somewhat passably play. I also have since realized that I was an idiot in school who didn't take care of my instrument. I rarely cleaned it and the cleaning stuff I had was gross and insufficient to actually do anything. Enter the HW Alto Sax Pad-Saver. This thing is amazing! My kids were oohing and ahhing over the colors and loved how it just fit perfectly in the saxophone. They decided it was magic how it just disappears. Also it's wide enough to actually reach out through the horn. While I'm not certain that I'll continue to play, I still don't regret this purchase and want to keep my sax in good shape going forward for whoever uses it after me. ... show more

    • Love this thing
Style: Tenor Sax
This so much higher quality than the crapy one that came with my sax and left big pieces of coarse lint all over. Definitely worth the money.

    • Way overpriced
Style: Alto Sax
This is a great product and does exactly what it is supposed to do - but Amazon charges almost 3x what you can get it for elsewhere.

    • I use it as a swab.. not a pad saver
Style: Flute
I only use this as a pass through swab. I wrap my silk scarf around the long piece and pass it through the tubing of the flute. Works nicely. *Bonus*..... With the foam tip I wrap the scarf around that and it's perfect for cleaning out the head. It gets all the moisture out up close to the cork area and the all around too. I do not leave this inside my flute. ... show more

    • Perfect cleaning tool for son's saxophone
Style: Alto Sax
My son didn't like the standard saxophone cleaning tool, the handkerchief on a weighted string, so he wasn't maintaining the instrument as he should. I bought this and he absolutely loves it. It can be pushed into the saxophone, clicks in, so that it fits in his saxophone case.

    • A must for flute players!
Style: Flute
I'm in marching band, and I noticed how my pads would get dirty, and sticky, and just plain nasty, so I bought a cleaner. I thought it would work, since it was fluffy, but in return, it gave me saliva stuck fibers, and it wouldn't come out. Not even when I put it in the dishwasher. So, I turned to the more expensive option. This product. I was hesitant buying it, because of my past experiences with flute pad savers, but all my friends said they were perfect, so I gave it a shot. Boy, am I glad I listened. I love this product! it Absorbs saliva, takes away the nasties and stickiness my pads were getting from my left in saliva, and just overall helped me care for my flute. It hasn't broken, and is easy to wash (just throw it in the dishwasher). It remains fluffy, and soft, and is just overall and amazing investment. Now that I haveone, I feel like I got a deal for how good this product is. I would recommend it to any flute player. It is a must have! (especially for those who play everyday.) ... show more
