One year update: I use them daily (I bought 2) and they are showing signs of wear on the corners and seams. I like the look of the ottoman, however the bottom is very flimsy so I'm not sure if anything will end up being put in there beside a throw pillow. Only one throw pillow would fit since its not too big. The sheen is a matte, my couch is more of a gloss so that was sad but the colors are different so its okay. ... show more

Great item, perfect size for my needs - and storage as well. I bought this ottoman/foot stool and knew when I was buying it that I wanted wheels instead of the feet that came with it. I waited for delivery to determine first if I liked it as much as I thought I would (I did) and second to see how difficult it would be to put wheels on it. Thankfully, it was a cinch! The feet included were to be screwed in, which was perfect for my idea to replace them with wheels. I searched Amazon for furniture wheels and at first was totally befuddled about what in the world to get. The sizes and selections were endless, but so was my patience to get it right and complete my little project. After figuring out what I needed, I was pleased to find that I had ordered the exact correct wheels and voila! The perfect ottoman/foot stool. This little ottoman was the perfect find for my motorhome and looks like it was built by the RV furniture manufacturer. I don't normally write reviews but I was so impressed by the fit, color and build quality I wanted to let other people (especially RV owners) know about it. The ottoman fits between the driver and passenger chairs, in front of the couch and will be used mostly in front of the driver's chair facing the TV. It stores perfectly under the dinette seating area when traveling. (see photos) I keep the remote controls, a small throw blanket and reading materials stored inside. I can also put a pillow on it and use it at the dinette for extra seating if needed. The bracket on the lid is well made and stays up when needed and does not come crashing down until you close it. It is lightweight and just the right height to keep your feet comfortably elevated when reclining in a chair. ... show more
