The scooter was delivered July 13, 2025. As of this writing, August 22, 2025, the ability to use the app to lock/unlock the scooter is still not available even though it is advertised as such. Directly taken from the description: "APP ENABLED – Lock and unlock your Boss DM, grant a friend or family member access to it remotely, pinpoint your location, and adjust your settings with the H-1 Pro Series app." This app does not even recognize the Boss DM scooter. This is really unfortunate because it was one of the important features that ultimately helped me choose it over competitor models. I have already reached out to Hover-1 twice. The most recent being Aug 14, 2025 and they acknowledge the issue and state engineers are working to correct it. If this feature is important to you then look elsewhere for now. ... show more

Definitely fun, and a good commuter. For lack of better description: Sport mode go brrrrrr! The kickstand is a bit useless unless its on perfectly level ground, even a slight slope can cause the stand to flop in.
