We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the set was for the price. We weren't sure what to expect, and after reading reviews of how assembly was a bit of a challenge, we weren't sure how long it would take. This is a great set for the price. It looks amazing and seems sturdy. Assembling this is tedious but by no means difficult. They do include the tools to assemble but this will go much faster and easier if you have a ratchet screw driver (2 hours to assemble versus 4 hours) The set is shipped in 3 boxes so initially I thought we were missing pieces and realized all boxes were not delivered and then UPS delivered the 3rd box to wrong address the following day, lucky we have great neighbors and they delivered the box to us. It would be great if shipped in separately it was documented that way so purchaser could track the entire order. ... show more

    • Nice chairs (for the price) - not fancy & directions can be misleading.
2 Box's arrived (Box A & Box lB). Opened Box A 1st; found the assembly instructions & the very first thing advises "This furniture comes in 3 boxes - do NOT start assembly until ALL 3 arrive." My Amazon a/c showed the order had been filled & delivery made. I waited 2 days - no addt'l box's. Contacted the seller via Amazon & rec'd a reply the next day advising 2 boxes is all I should get. The box's are flimsy, as in FLIMSY cardboard & some parts punched holes in the box's making me wonder as to the condition of the contents. All parts (& even some spare hardware) were inside. Assembly was not that difficult. Midway thru assembly I got my clamps to help align parts. Without clamps I never would have been able to align the parts for assembly. I also used my hex extension handle - which saved a lot of time & my fingers to boot. The chairs are decent & from the materials used will not last that many years. Our chairs will live indoors in a patio room & not be exposed to the outside elements - which should extend their life somewhat. ... show more

Where to begin?!?!? The items arrived in three boxes but days apart. Thank goodness I didn’t touch it for a few days or I would have probably been very confused. The quality of the materials is mediocre at best for the price tag. The biggest issue is the screws they provide are all cheap quality and are easy to strip. I ended up upgrading all the metric fasteners to Allen head metric stainless steel. You need a combo of lengths and button heads to clear tight areas. I got them from my own stash and McMaster-Carr. The table storage piece broke immediately when I opened it. The piano hinge exploded and blew the hinge pin into pieces. I had to get piano hinge from a local place and drill the holes again. Also the holes on the piano hinge were not deburred from the factory so a large size drill bit is needed to take the burr off. Needless to say I don’t think it’s necessary to have two pistons to keep the table top open when accessing it, one seems sufficient. See the pictures for the blown apart hinge. Yes I know a screw is missing I started dissembling it before I took the picture. That’s the moment I was like….oh yeah this is getting a review. The chairs both are not square after assembly. Not sure why exactly but I had to add at least an inch of foot pad to level it. This was custom made with a piece of Delrin and a cap screw pressed into it. I need to investigate that more and possibly take it apart and see if I can better square it up. The cushions are thin and with my big derriere I’m sure they will crush and look weird very fast. There appears to be nothing to secure the back cushions to the bench and chair material. No loops with Velcro or something that you would find on 1/4 the cost furniture from your local stupidmarket. Seems like an oversight to me. The instructions are not easy to follow and I’m very mechanically inclined. This one is a rubix cube at first and you spend hours trying to figure out what goes where. Eventually it goes together. Overall all I am not impressed. Look elsewhere. ... show more

    • Love this set- but cheap zippers.
The zippers on the cushions are cheap. 1 failed on day 1. I have to replace the zipper. Other than that- fabulous set! Looks awesome.
