I received these lamps today, and I have to say that I don't think they are worth the money. The base is very cute, and it's nice that they included the LED lightbulbs, but the shade is seriously problematic. It comes rolled up, with two wire circles to clip onto. The part that attaches to the lamp fits fine, but when you put the top ring on, the shade does not wrap to meet. There is about a half-inch space, and it's only held together by velcro. Since the ends stop meeting about halfway up, the velcro definitely won't hold. I ended up leaving off the top circle, so the lamp is not perfectly circular at the top. Grr. On top of that, the shade does not secure to the base. At all. They rely on the bulb to hold the shade on (by itself!), and that is just very poor design. The shade should at least screw on to the base in some way, but it doesn't. It's just perched there, so if you move the lamp at all, it wobbles and tilts over. The only thing that seems workable in a busy household is to place the lamp up out of the way, so that the precariously balanced shade cannot be moved (even a person walking quickly by, will make it wobble, just from the breeze they create!). Not good. I am going to try to find a lamp shade that actually works with this lamp; this one absolutely does not. Ultimately, I decided to keep them since I like the base a lot and they are already here, but I definitely would not order again. [edit to add: the seller was wonderful and made this right. I would have preferred lamps that were usable, but I am impressed by this seller's effort to make this right.] ... show more

These are very cute lamps but very flimsy. The lamp shade does not sit level. If you move the lamp, the shade wobbles a lot. Unfortunately I’ll be sending them back.
