    • Very nice quality and easy to use
The T851 Offroad seems to be a great board so far. It is well built and looks very nice. There are a few different safety features, but I really like being able to adjust the speed limit while learning. It's also pretty neat that the LEDs act as turn signals, that's a nice touch. It has been very easy for my 13, 11, and 9 year old to use. After a couple of minutes you would think they are pros. The offroad capabilities are very nice. My son has been driving through the yard both up and down hills and the grass & dirt don't seem to be any problem. We were very surprised with the bluetooth speaker. It has a very nice rich sound to it and seems just as good of quality as the board itself. The battery life and charging times seem to be right on par with what is promised. An hour and a half to two hours to charge gets you 2 to 2 and a half hours run time, possibly more depending on the rider's weight, your speed, and terrain. The app is working fine on iOS, but on Android 8.0 and 9.0 it wants to update after opening. If you select update it crashes and you have to restart again. I am currently talking with Gyroor about that and they were very quick to contact the app developer... hopefully that gets corrected soon. Not taking off any stars for this since they have been very responsive on this issue so far. There will be some grammar and translation errors in the manual and welcome letter, but it is a very nice quality letter and decent enough manual. English is not their first language, but the support team has been great so far. The app also only shows the speed in KPH with no option for MPH. That would be a simple app update and doesn't take away from the board at all, but there really needs to be an option to toggle it to MPH. I was looking for hoverboard for my teen age son and hence I needed a hoverboard which was safe and powerful. I zeroed in on Gyroor Y1 Pro and I was glad I purchased it. The hoverboard has been designed very well and looks very eye-catching. The handle on the hoverboard makes it easy to carry around. The music speaker is a very good feature which my son likes the most. The hoverboard is really powerful and does easily carry 180 lbs. It does climb slopes very well. It does run continuously for a long time carrying around 150lbs and hence the battery seems to be of high capacity. I had some issues with the speed limit settings but the customer service was prompt in responding and addressing the issue. We’ve always had hoverboards in family but this one topped all the other hoverboards we have. Self balancing helps to learn for new rider. Big tires makes it easy to ride on sidewalks and dirt gravel driveways.

    • Worst mistake

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 9 year old. It worked great for the first 10 mins then we noticed it would just completely stop and throw him off. We figured it was just going dead. Then we realized it wasn’t even charging. I emailed the company and they got back to me in a day or so questioning details on the hoverboard and what issues it was having, I replied and their response was that they were going to ship us a new battery and wanted to make sure we were comfortable installing it ourselves. We were supposed to get an email with tracking information, but it has been 2 weeks. I emailed them again for an update and attempted to call them but I had to leave a voicemail. Just really regretting the buy. If we end up with a better outcome I will update the review but as of now, I do not recommend. ... show more

    • Best Gift I've Ever Purchased
I was skeptical, but this all terrain board has brought my daughter so much delight! After a good charge, we let her run it through our gravel driveway and uneven grass yard and field. She scooted across the ground at a rate that I was not prepared for, and that was on the kids mode where she could only max out at 7mph. We have not cranked it up all the way, but there's no need to. She's 8, so I feel like it's enough as it is. She's more than happy with the speed as is. The self balancing is great for when she steps off and needs to come back to it. The led lights are not necessary, but a marvelous addition. She loves changing the colors. It's a little heavier than hoverboards she's played on before, but she can still carry it to and from the car or her room. The app was easy to find and somewhat simple to get started. I like that it contains all of the board's settings and it's easy to maneuver through. I HIGHLY recommend this board if you plan on taking your fun outside and into the grass.     • Great product - Worthless App
The hoverboard works great and is very easy to get use to. My 10 year old and 6 year old are racing around on it through the neighborhood. The battery lasts at least an hour on a full charge of a slow cruising speed. This thing was scratched to all hell within the first 20 minutes, for an off-road model, it should have come with more rubber around the edges. It also has a hard time going on any grass, dirt, or over even mid size divets in the ground. My main issue is with the app to manage this device. The company asks for way too much information from your phone (call/text history, photos, videos, location) and after giving them that, the app doesn't connect 90% of the time and when it does, you get disconnected after each session. On top of all that, the App also has constant ads and popups. If they fixed their app to be a proper peice of software for $300 hoverboard, I would give them a 5/5 review. Until then, the hoverboard features of LED lights, battery indicator, and odometer are unusable and should not be a selling point. ... show more
