I love this timer. I love the built in battery for portability. I love the ease of use and all the functions. The matte covering can create a slight glare at the right angle, but super minimal. By far best timer for the price and functionality. Wish there was one with a slightly bigger display.

I have this timer in my personal two car garage gym. I basically do HIIT type workouts which make this gym clock timer perfect for my unconventional type workouts. Range of remote is limited to our garage space, so if you have a huge space or really long distance to cover; that may be a challenge. The alarm sound could be louder, but overall great value for the price point.

The build quality and fit/finish are way better than I expected. The main body seems to be aluminium, not the cheap plastic I was expecting. The end-caps are plastic but look and feel nice. The screen is nice and bright and the perfect size for the room I'm in. If the wife ever lets me move the gym equipment out of the basement into the garage, I'll buy a bigger one of the same brand. The only things I can complain about are the alarm could be louder and the remote has a funky profile on the back making it a little weird to mount it like I want to. But those are relatively minor issues.

This is exactly what it is: The cheapest timer on Amazon. Bright numbers that can be seen clearly. Beeper is loud enough to hear over music. Programming is awkward and not intuitive. When it's in Clock Mode it has a large "H1' or "H2" in front of the time. That means every single person who walks into the room will ask "What does "H1" mean?" Then after you explain they will reply "That's dumb." I keep mine turned off when not in use for that reason. Also the remote isn't that great. It has a max range of about 10 feet so it doesn't respond until that last button push right before you fire it across the room and into the wall. Overall it does it's job and the price was fair.

The instructions in the user manual are not user friendly, the custom interval setting instructions don't work, and the manufacturer does not respond to messages despite supplying contact details within the manual. Without being able to correctly set the custom interval settings this is little more than a glorified stopwatch and clock. Awful product and customer service.

Very bright, can see numbers clearly. Lowest display setting is more than bright enough. Takes a little getting used to the setup and operation functions. Remote control only, no manual buttons to access. Like the fact it keeps clock time and date when turned off. I use a USB power source, cord is nice length.

The buzzer (just a single "ding") at the beginning and end of each round is does not resemble a boxing/martial arts signal, nor does it have the 10 second warning. Might be fine for other gym exercises but not useful for MMA/boxing.
