Like many people, I ordered this lock to use in an escape room I was designing, and it worked out beautifully! I love the bright color and sturdiness. The kids thought it was pretty cool, too, and even the youngest was able to mess with it without breaking anything. Also like many, I did wish I could rearrange the letters rings, but I already knew that wasn't an option on this lock, and the locks that did allow that did not have as thoughtful a letter distribution on the rings, so they all have their limitations. Plus when the one I was sent had an issue, I reached out to the seller who remedied the situation immediately. So great lock and great customer service! This lock would not set a combination. It did not work. The previous statement was for first delivered lock received. The seller afterwards delivered another lock which worked perfectly. Therefore I am changing my review. Seller is very anxious to deliver a quality product and was easy to deal with.

I lost my other lock with letters, left it at the gym. It was sturdy, name brand. I thought this was it but totally not, didn't look closely that it a "Kingo" lock. Kingo!? Wtf? It came in a smashed up, cheap plastic package. I was going to send it back but it's not worth the hassle. I took it out and it feels cheap. Cheap metal, cheap dials. I'm supposed to secure my wallet with this junk? Resetting it, per the instructions don't come close to making any sense, it says line up all the 0s. Um, there isn't a single zero! I should have just gotten another one from my gym, paid the extra $5 or whatever. I'm constantly losing locks, I buy a ton... and this, by far, is the cheapest I've ever purchased. Also, footnote... the letter combinations are random letter with which you can't form actual English works. It sounds stupid to complain about but the whole point of it is to create a word that you won't forget. Clearly, whoever chose these letters doesn't speak English. ... show more

I really like the sturdiness of this lock, but I didn't realize you can't make any word you want. The description states, "5 Dials Resettable Combo Offer 100000 Combinations,Easy to Set Your Own Password Combination." It should be clearer that rings CANNOT come off, and user is limited to specific letters, then list the letters on each ring. ... show more
