This compressor is suitable for filling, airguns directly to the airgun, and I would say, in my opinion, is not suitable for filling portable air tanks. I say that because the time that it would take to fill even a .5 L air tank would be unreasonably long in my opinion. And completely forget about filling a 6.8 L tank. As I said, it is suitable for filling an air tube or small bottle on a PCP rifle. As an example, it took about six minutes to fill one of my PCP rifles from 2000 psi to 3600. Of course, filling a PCP rifles air tube or small bottle from 0 to 4500 psi likely we take 45 minutes. It should be shut off after 20 minutes of operation or if the onboard thermometer reads over 75°C . There are safety features that do this in case you forget. In such a situation, one would leave the devices, high-speed fans, running to reduce the temperature to permissible levels, but I have not had that occurrence yet because what I’ve used it for so far was completed Within those parameters. I have a much larger and more powerful compressor for filling my 6.8 L tanks. So this is my back up in as much as my large compressor had an electrical short on the interior portion of its female plug receptacle, and I’m waiting for a part to be received to resolve that. ... show more

This compressor was great. Had it for 6 months and used it a few times(about 4). It wasn't fast but it was very portable and could run on dual power sources without having to carry around a converter. It did however break and is unable to get above 3000 psi. I have tried to contact the seller since it is still within the 1 year period. I have exhausted all patience and effort in the hopes this compressor can be fixed. All in all this was a great compressor in terms of price, performance, and portability for all the 4 times i used it. Just know that this compressor will not last. ... show more

This thing worked like a charm for the first 30 days, now it no longer pumps to any measurable pressure. I replaced the fill hose to see if there was a leak in the hose, there was not. It build a slight pressure as evidenced by releasing the bleed valve after an attempted fill. After placing a review with my issue, customer service reached out to me and tried to help me troubleshoot the issue. After a few attempts at different possible fixes, they agreed to send me a new unit. A few days later I was back up and running. Everything has a failure rate, that's just the way of things, but what helps me pick a product is whether a company stands behind their product, and these guys do. Works good but pretty loud if using indoors. Takes 5-6 minutes to fill up a paintball tank then about the same time for it to cool down. Overall, I recommend.

Nice compressor from GX. This compressor pumps fast and I have had zero issues with it. GX has proven itself to be one of the best if not the best compressor company in each of its compressors price ranges. They also have the best warranty of 1yr where other companies typically only offering 90 days. In the bag comes everything you need from the 12v cables, fill hose, block off insert, AC cord, extra filters and blowout discs. This compressors needs no oil or water to keep it cool due to the high speed cooling fans that work very well. Everything is built right in to the GX CS1 including the pressure gauge with automatic shutoff, temperature gauge, 220 or 110 volt switch, 12v or AC switch and the built in power transformer. It also is fairly light weight at only 17.5lbs. When filling my Umarex Origin from 2,000 PSI to 3,200psi it only took roughly two minutes which is a whole lot better than hand pumping every time I need to refill. So if you are looking for your first PCP compressor or replacing one, look no farther than the GX CS1. ... show more

Great compressor for airing up my PCP air rifles. My Air Venturi Nomad 2 compressor finally gave up the ghost, so I went looking for another high pressure (4500 psi) compressor. that wasn't as expensive as a Nomad 2. I read lots of good things about this PUMP (a GX CS1-I) and decided to give it a try. I placed the order on 5/16/23 and it arrived on 5/19/23, as promised. Today, I used it to top off my Daystate Wolverine HP .25 caliber air rifle from about 160 bar to 250 bar - and it went great, I didn't time it, but it didn't take long. It was easy - all I did was (1) plug it in, (2) open the bleed valve, (3) hit "AC" lever, (4) pressed start and (5) closed the bleed valve. That was it. I had already set the auto cutoff to just under 250 bar and watched as the rifle aired up. It cut off just right. I'm happy so far. ... show more

I filled my PCP air rifle from 0 to 3200 PSI, the first time. I have used it 3 times since to top it off from 1900 to 3200 PSI. The 4th time I tried to top off my gun from 1900 to 3200 PSI, it wouldn't even reach 3200 PSI. I can't get it above 3000 psi. Don't waste your money! Better to save up and buy a real comperessor! ... show more
