    • This is an industrial beast. Amazingly fast and quiet
As others have said, this is a big heavy unit. The box is more a crate than a box and the packing is excellent. Impressive how quiet the compressor is. The cooling fan is louder than the compressor pump! There is a water flow indicator and even though I had added the recommended amount of coolant the indicator barely turned. The problem is an air bubble at the top of the indicator. To clear the bubble I had the coolant running and tipped the compressor so it was almost laying on the side with the controls. This positioned the coolant outlet so the air bubble would be flushed out and not the indicator spins rapidly. Instructions regarding the grease pots are confusing as the Amazon listing and the manual say different things regarding how frequently to turn the grease pots. Still don't know what the correct answer is. Run duration is also shown as 8 hrs and as 10 hrs. Not a big deal as I don't ever expect to run it that long, but pointing out as another case of inconsistent documentation. Warranty duration is also confusing as both 12 and 18 months are in the listing between the images and the text. Only negative so far is I was filling my Huben which has a 5000 psi tank and the burst disk on one cylinder blew out at about 4600 psi. I was amazed that the other cylinder continued pumping and completed the fill. While easy to replace the burst disk there are only a small number in the spare parts and no way to contact the vendor to get more. Support is by Amazon who wanted me to return the entire 106 lbs unit because I wanted to purchase some extra burst disks. It also seems that the parts kit is only enough for 1 cylinder and it would be nice to either include enough parts for a full rebuild of both cylinders or have a way to purchase the extra parts. It it wasn't due to the lack of ability to communicate with the vendor and get extra burst disks and parts I would give this compress a 5. It is impressive. Update: 12/28/23 changing to 5 stars. Got a reply from the factory regarding who to contact for spare parts. Found 7 mm burst disks on Amazon so have plenty just in case. Most impressive, I received my 9 L carbon tank and this compressor filled it from 0 to 4500 psi in 90 minutes. This is at just under 6000 ft altitude in a Denver, CO suburb where compressors are about 20% less efficient due to the low air density. ... show more

    • It really is quiet and fast...
so definitely quiet enough to use in the living room. Fast too, compared to my shoebox compressor. Filled a "Great White 97 cu ft" tank in under an hour. Only three minor downsides for now that keep it from getting 4 stars: 1) no temperature gauge. will have to figure out something aftermarket to install 2) inbuilt moisture trap still lets quite a bit of water through. Will need to attach the external one from the shoebox. 3) this thing is HUGE. I come from the age of full tower 386 desktops. this thing is more like the size of a SERVER of the era. Or take that old giant IBM tower, add 25% width and height, and nearly twice as long. Lifting it is a 2 person job. Good thing it has wheels, but definitely not packing it up into the truck for use at anyone's range, unless they're helping load, secure, and unload. But overall it does the job I needed. I recently got an Umarex Hammer and dont get too many full fills (refilling every 2 shots in the rifle) so the tank gives me barely a range trip-and would have to be refilled often. Problem is, the local dive shop doesnt fill on-site. They have their "main office" fill the rentals (at least thats what they tell me). Local FD is concerned about liability, and that the tank is not rated for or used for breathing use. So I have to fill myself. No way was my inexpensive shoebox compressor going to do the job in one shot, and is so freaking noisy that even outside the neighbors complain (townhomes and apartments here) when it runs even long enough to fill me 500cc Leshiy2 tank. Only on second refill, so havent got much to say about longevity yet. If I run into unexpected showstopping issues I'll update the review. ... show more

I’ve had a few compressors over the last two years, but this one is by far my favorite. It sounds like a sewing machine running so I actually can keep it in the house. It’s got its own coolant tank built in so you don’t have to deal with a bucket and I haven’t had any over heating issues. I’m in the middle of setting up a 100 yard range at my house for me and some friends so we will need air and this compressor is built heavy so I’m sure it will be up to the task. I just filled up my fx streamline from 120bar to 230bAr in about 40 seconds. The best part is the tube on the gun did not get warm so I should see less pressure drop and it should be better on my guns. Best of all is the customer service I have received, mine got a damaged wheel during shipping. Not only did the seller get me the parts ASAP he also asked me what I thought would prevent the issue for future shipments. This really makes me feel like he cares about the product after you purchase it. Update: I’ve had this compressor for a while now, it’s a beast! Just filled a 6.8l bottle from 245ish bar to 300bar in under 15min. I bled it off twice to let moisture out, it seems to do a really good job capturing moisture.     • Very good for paintball tanks
All the neighborhood kids bring their paintball tanks for me to fill. It works great and I have not had any problems! Its very fast and quiet. Its definitely worth the money as I had a really bad compressor before this one. However, I have no idea what to do for maintenance. It didn't come with any instructions on maintenance so if anyone can fill me in on that I would appreciate it! Thank you ... show more
