Update: July 2025 I contacted the manufacture via their support email and they quickly sent out a replacement safe within a week. Even though my product was out of warranty - purchased in 2021. They stand behind their product and I would not hesitate to buy another safe from them. Original review: I purchased this case for the ease of access. The case was working great, but then the batteries died without warning. Did not get any "low battery" warning that it was supposed to give. Even upon replacing with new batteries, the fingerprint and number buttons do not work. I can only open manually with the key now. The smart case became just a dumb case. Contacted support, but not sure how that will turn out. ... show more

I was looking at the more expensive competitors, but I have to say this safe checks all the boxes. I think this kind of safe is not really meant to store valuables as someone can easily just take the whole thing with them. However, it makes a great gun case, or perhaps to store something you use a lot. The case comes with a long steel cable that makes it easy to loop around a piece of furniture. The cable is thin and the connection to the case does not look super beefy, but it will do the job to keep prying fingers off. The buttons are easy to find and press, and are well lit. The fingerprint reader works well, but keep in mind that changes to your finger or finger positioning can be a factor on working correctly (e.g. I rock climb, so my fingerprints tend to not read correctly with any fingerprint device). Overall very happy I did not spend hundreds on another brand. Yes, the more expensive brands may look fancier, but this works just as well. ... show more

Great safe for what it is. Seems sturdy. Given the instructions and app it is certainly from overseas, but It would certainly take me personally quite a bit of work to get into it. I bought it mainly to keep my firearms out of little hands so it works for me. Do note, if you are going to rely on the thumbprint to be able to open everytime for quick access this is not the case for you. After putting my thumbprint in the system about 12 times using the same and different parts of thumb I found it probably still only opens first try 6 or 7 out of 10 times. I tested using parts of my thumb I put in 3 times and parts I put in only once, much to the same results. Putting my thumb down the same way three times it might open 2/3 times. So in short it works, but is not to be relied upon at all. Love how the thing pops open very quickly when it does open, and the overall design. ... show more

This has been a great little safe for my concealed carry. I have had this thing for a little over a year now. It still has the orginal batteries in it and has lasted this long. It holds almost all pistols even my larger 10mm. It seems to lock very well and the fingerprint is reliable. For the price point this thing works great. The safe seems solid, haven't really played around it that much, simply put the gun in and left it. I decided to program everything today. I opened the app and for some reason decided to look at the privacy policy...I've never done that before. The app says it has the right to collect all identifiable information and then goes on to list everything...passport, facial metrics, etc.....did I mention this is a Chinese company (just to feed into the paranoia). Suffice it to say I immediately deleted the app and won't be using it, so this safe will be useless in my house since I wanted to keep track of access and can't use that app. I MAY put this in my car or send it back, but for that alone I'd recommend you buy something else.
