Easy & Secure Mounting Just Make Sure You Use Proper Anchors For Your Application. Very Easy To Access With Fast Fingerprint Recognition, Just Program The Same Finger Multiple Times From Different Angles. Fitment Is Good As Far As I've Found But You Can Remove & Modify Foam Pretty Easily If Necessary. Mounts Sturdily To Bracket And Material Thickness Is What You'd Expect For This Style Of Safe & Price. Also Has A Really Nice Textured Matte Black Finish. If You're Questioning Whether Or Not You Need/Want The Screen, Its Worth It Just To Keep An Eye On Humidity & Battery Life. Nobody Wants Rust, Rough Operation, Or Bad Batteries In An Emergency Situation. ... show more

    • Easy install

So far so good, the only thing I dislike is the thin screws that hold the safe to the mounting bracket. I also believe that there should be a option to turn the sound offand a cut out for weapon mounted lights. The product was super easy to install and the fingerprint reader works pretty good. Overall this product is pretty good. ... show more

    • Safe to keep tools out of unsafe hands

I bought this to have the option to keep some of my important tools out of the hands of people who shouldn't be touching it. I don't want a child to get a hold of the contents and end up with a terrible accident. I don't consider this to be a safe to keep out a determined thief, this is purely to keep children and casual people out. It has a finger print scanner as well as a 6 digit code for fast access. And a set of keys for access in the event the batteries die. It uses 4 AA batteries to power the internals. Setup was a breeze. It's sold construction and is heavy. I will be trying to mount it to my desk. Overall I'm happy with it. ... show more

    • Easy to Install and Worked Like a Dream
Style: Biometric Keypad
I have used Amazon since the early 2000s and have relied on user feedback to make my purchasing decisions. I have found that the Amazon community is right on. I have not, however, done my part to provide ratings to help others make their decisions. This is just one of many ratings that I have needed to provide. My strategy is to provide a numerical rating when there is not much more to say, except it worked as designed, was well made, and did not have any obvious flaws. I will provide more elaboration when needed to support a rating, good or bad. For this item, however, I think just a score will suffice. ... show more

Style: Biometric Keypad
What I particularly love is the ease of mounting and the flexibility it offers; whether it's on a nightstand, under a desk, or even on a wall. The biometric access is consistently responsive and reliable, ensuring only authorized entry. The construction instills confidence in its ability to keep my firearm secure while remaining readily available. This safe is a smart investment for responsible gun owners prioritizing both accessibility and security in various home or office settings. ... show more

    • Cannot mount from back side of item
Style: Biometric Keypad
Bought this for my paraplegic son-in-law, to be mounted on a nightstand so that he could grab a gun quickly from bed in case of a break-in, without also worrying about kids being able to access it. It's very handy in that respect. But mounting options don't allow for the safe to be mounted from the back. Only the sides, or using the bracket on the top. It had to be mounted on the back of his nightstand, then the nightstand pulled forward a few feet away from the wall (in the way) for him to be able to access it. For someone that cannot get out of bed on their own, it is very hard to reach this safe mounted from those angles - if it had mounting option on the back, it could be mounted on the side of his nightstand where the opening could be facing him for easy grabbing. All in all, it does the intended job, but it's always hard to find accessible safety products. ... show more

    • Great quick-access single gun safe for bedside installation
Style: Biometric Keypad

Review Image by Daniel O.
It took me a bit to figure out exactly where I wanted to install it, but the Holewor gun safe is a great choice to securely store a gun near your bed. It's just about the perfect size for between nightstand and bed. The mounting bracket makes a good template for positioning holes to mount the safe. I was worried that the fingerprint sensor wouldn't be quick, but it is. Up to 50 fingerprints can be stored as well as 5 6-digit passcodes. All programming is easily accomplished by a single push of the programming button inside. ... show more
