Works very well.
Mounted on the back of a side x side to spread seeds and fertilizer in our pasture. Works very well for our application and have used it several times.

Works very well for small fields
Used this to seed 40 acres of CRP land. It worked well. This is not for use behind your John Deere tractor, it works just fine behind my Gator however! It is for smaller jobs too large for a walk behind or hand thrower. The cable door does not work and must be opened and closed manually. No big deal, you just have to reach under it and "help" the trap door open and close. The cable is not strong enough to operate the door once seed is introduced. Other than that, it works great. Simple and strong ti throws grass and clover quite easily. Very convenient.

Terrible System
Do not buy this garbage -- I bought this last winter --- the gate for the material that you put in the hopper is a joke - the string support does not work and all of sudden opens up and content of the hopper is on the ground.. and now, the motor stopped working --- what a cheap piece of trash, waste of money and time....

Not worth it.
We bought this for 5 acres of food plots. It worked for 2023 season spring/ fall 3 or 4 times then 2024. It hasn't worked at all in 2025. I came back to look up the make so I could perhaps find a YouTube video on repairing it. I know the fuse is good and it's getting electricity. I can't recommend this product. It's barely made 2 seasons. Not worth it.
