The seeder fits very loosely in the hutch and wobbles a lot. It needs to be used with the cover unless you are on really flat ground. I tied a wire to each side to stabilize it. Other than that it works great. I’ve now sowed several hundred pounds of various seeds from sunflowers to grasses and it’s worked fine.

The directions weren't the easiest to follow but it went together well. It doesn't completely empty when using fertilizer and it's difficult to close completely if you want to stop spreading before it is empty.

My seeder worked well for 3 days now the motor is frozen up. It’s an electro magnetic motor and I’ve tried to get it to go but it won’t. Texted the voltage and it’s getting power to the motor but motor will not engage. Pain in the butt to package this up and send back!

I bought my first one about 4 years ago. It works find for one season, the second season it just stopped working and I replaced the wires, got one more planting from it. I bought a 2nd one the year later, got one season of food plots out of it, the motor stopped working. I replaced the wires. Nothing. I use mine only for planting food plots on our hunting land so I use it little. I would not recommend this. Too much time wasted on fixing it.

the unit works ok. it did not immediately come on and I traced the problem to the switch. i toggled it several times and it finally started working. the cable for the slide door bent the first use after a few pushes. it does not operate door at all now. i will either need to send back or purchase a better cable.
