The connection areas rust. The nuts and bolts are rust resistant, so yay for that. I like it, but it needs to be secured against heavy winds. Mine moved 4 feet. Lifted right up and moved.

Installed wheels to move around in the yard. It made a great portable shade this summer. Modified top by adding extra ribs (PEX tubing) to stop water from pooling on canopy when it rains. Good value, can not vouch for the durability of the canopy over winter in the NW. ADDENDUM: 2 winters Later.......The frame remains intact, The canopy remains solid & intact, thou the Velcro tie downs (Glued in) came apart by rain, not a big deal they were replaced by Washers and Screws.. N.B___ The wind can lift and toss the canopy if not secured. Now "C " Clamped it to the building. Also, It appears that a replacement canopy cover can be had from another vendor on Amazon

I was looking for something small enough to provide some coverage for my small deck. Living in the inner city shade is a luxury. I was happy to find this. As you can see from the photo, it’s more than a grill gazebo. It was not as easy to put together as I thought. BEWARE of the poles!! 🤗 I partially read the instructions and wasn’t aware that there were two different sizes. I learned that the hard way. 😔Also, it’s a little flimsy and will most likely fall over with strong winds. We used zip ties to secure it. We shall see. 🤞🏾 At any rate, I’m happy with it. I also purchased the plastic tarp which keeps my patio furniture dry. It has rained twice and it works. I love that! I deducted two stars due to the price. I purchased mine for $219. Two days later the price was $149. That’s highway robbery. If I hadn’t put together, I would had returned it and repurchased it. There should be a policy to price match within a few days of purchased.

Great quality. Just that tarp sags and leaks with rain. Easy fix. Overlay with clear plastic tarp and insert small thin pine planks across existing metal tarp supports keep from sagging. For the price, very well built. Screwed it into concrete base. I recommend, but as mentioned, the tarp cover lacks sufficient support and is not water proof. You will have to beef up the tarp support somehow. I used thin pine wood planks cut to fit from Home Depot.

This is a beautiful canopy until it rains. We just had our first rain and it all collects in saggy pockets and stretches out the canvas instead of staying taute and running off. Huge pain. Can't recommend. I mean, keeping the rain off is the whole point of a canopy.

I bought this in 2020 and installed it solo (don’t recommend— have a buddy help you!). It looked really nice and worked well until it rained or stormed. When it rained, the top cloth would pool up with rain and cause it to droop and we’d have to push the water out with a long stick. We did end up installing some bungee cords to provide more support and that seemed to help, but when we had a minor storm with some wind, the top cloth tore entirely and I couldn’t fix it with a hand-sew. I tried reaching out to the seller and the original manufacturer to see if there was a way to purchase just the replacement canopy top cloth, but they told me no. So, I ended up having to buy a random and ill-fitting tarp and using bungee cords to attach it. It looks terrible now with this random cover and I kind of hate it, but I’d like it a lot more if there was an option to purchase just the replacement top cloth.

Love this gazebo! Bought for 2 reasons: to shade my back patio area (which gets direct sunlight making it unbearable to lounge out there) and to provide cover for my lil dog when she goes out to handle her business in the rain. She’s afraid of the rain (poor thing). It definitely provides adequate shade so now we can comfortably hang out on the patio. Idk about the rain yet since it’s still summer but I will be buying a heavy duty tarp for winter because the cloth cover that is provided is NOT waterproof. This is very easy to assemble with a clear instruction manual. I completed by myself in about 30 min. Of course the process would go faster with two people but I like to do things myself because I’m very particular when it comes to DIY projects. I have a concrete patio thus it’s not nailed to the ground. Product is sturdy and despite some heavy winds at night it hasn’t blown away or even moved an inch. I’m in love with it’s size- comfortably fits 3 people in reclining lawn chairs or 3-4 people sitting at my bistro set. The photos attached are from the moment it was assembled. I was so happy. Even my “lil helper” was excited about our final outcome. 🐾 P.S. for those wanting to know if the top actually slants, see my photos for clarity. I hope this review is helpful to someone.

This is my second order of this model. This one was a little beat up when I received it, had some scratching and dents the first one didn't have which was a little disappointing but not a deal breaker. I ordered a custom 5x8 shade cloth tarp for the top to reduce issues with wind and rain pooling. I have to say, you can hang plants from this shelter, but I would not recommend it because as it doesn't have a lot of bracing, and the weight of the plants caused it to become very rickety and to sway. I wish I could have figured out a way to brace it, but it ended up collapsing and i bought a new one. No plants this time!
