This CD player has been such a great addition to our homeschooling setup! There are so many great resources that are only available on CD — especially from the library — and this lets us actually use them again. The sound quality is surprisingly excellent, and the controls are super intuitive. My 5-year-old can operate it independently, which is a huge plus. I also love that it has a headphone jack for quiet time, but it’s loud enough for group listening too. It looks nice on the shelf, and it’s been very reliable so far. While cleaning out old boxes in the basement, I came across several CDs I hadn’t listened to in YEARS! I realized I didn’t have a CD player anymore, since everything is an AUX cord or Apple CarPlay nowadays. I wanted something simple, sleek, good audio, and this product delivers! Lately I've been taking my kid out to Goodwill and other donation stores and we've been picking up CDs. To her it's a novelty (music! on a piece of silicone!), but to me it's definitely all about nostalgia and sentimentality, as I slowly try to piece together my CD collection from my youth. While my older car has a CD player built-in, I didn't have a convenient way to jam out to Hootie and the Blowfish (yes, that's the disc in the photo) at home, and this CD player was the perfect addition. Very small footprint with a good sound quality, and it's USB powered so I have some flexibility in terms of plugging it in. It also can be used as a bluetooth speaker (but there's probably better options than this), has FM Radio capabilities, and has a USB input for playing flash drives. The remote is a nice touch so I can pause the music for work meetings without much trouble. My only minor gripe is that this could use an equalizer, or at least some way to adjust bass and treble. But the sound is crisp as-is.

Looks neat as a desktop CD player and the speakers fit to the unit frame size, meaning relatively large speakers, which makes it sound as great as it can. Works well, the remote also works well and perfect size. If you need a small CD player, I’d recommend this one.

Got this on a whim and didn’t even realize how much joy it would bring! I won a contest in college and got 100 free cd’s and have tons more that sat in a box for years. Cds are now out on a bookshelf and getting a 2nd chance. I”m hoping my 10 year old son will appreciate them. So far, he just likes the Peanuts Christmas album, which is awesome and highly recommended. Sound is not bad but I bought a JBL Flip 6 bluetooth speaker and am blown away by the sound! Definitely recommend an external speaker if you want great sound. Super easy to pair! Excellent purchase! Easy to use and a great deal!

The actual player is great. Sounds clear, easy to use. But it’s NOT portable. Multiple descriptions and specifications state it’s portable. Portable means doesn’t need to be plugged in to use. This is false. The player needs to be plugged in for use. Is it light weight and easy to move, yes. But if you are purchasing to listen to media without using electricity then this is not for you. We have tried keep the power on and turning it off while plugged in as a means to charge it. But it’s not an option. If it’s not plugged in, it will not work.

I had a player like this before. This one is better. It is virtually the same to use, so it is probably built by the same plant in China as the old one. I have only had it for a few hours so I don't know how long it will last. The one that this replaced died after 2 years, which is unacceptable, so hopefully this lasts longer. I am hoping for at least 5 years. I use it to play audiobook CDs, so I want clear voice sound, no bass, and that's what you get. I think it would be OK for music, but I like clear music too over muddy bass. It has decent volume, certainly enough to hear the audiobook well sitting 2 feet away from me. It would be better if it was capable of playing a little more loudly, such as if I use it in a car, but it is satisfactory. It sits upright in one piece as opposed to the last one which had a separate two piece stand. It has Bluetooth, which the other one did not have, so if that can sync with my car, it will play through the car sound system, which would be huge. It has a 3.5 mm audio input, which I assume works for output as well for headphones. If it lasts, I will be very happy with this compact player with its decent speakers and volume. CD audiobooks are being replaced by playaways and streaming so I may not even need it to last that long!
