I recently tried @ 7 different portable CD / radio FM players. I found this one as the second best: sound, very easy to operate, connectivity to bluetooth, feeling of sturdiness/ quality (vs cheep materials/buttons). If you are looking for a CD player, this is certainly a nice one. I've seen some web reviews of this particular brand and model of CD player. I largely agree with their assessments --- PROS: (1) It's not a bad CD player. It plays CD,CD-R,CD-RW,MP3, and WMA. (2) It comes with Bluetooth receive and transmit. You can connect it via Bluetooth to other speakers or to your phone. (3) It has two speakers in the body. (4) It has FM radio. (5) It can play supported files from a USB drive. (6) The remote control is a very nice plus. CONS: (1) While the speakers are decent, they are less than average in sound quality and volume capability. They will suffice if you're working around the kitchen but when you party or take it outside, you'll want to connect better external speakers. (2) There is no tone control or equalizer. (3) The dust cover for the CD opens from the bottom, so inserting/removing a CD requires an awkward reach. It's not impossible, of course, but it does require some effort, especially to secure the CD to the drive spindle hub. All-in-all, I am pleased with my purchase. I've only had the player for a few days and have only used the built-in speakers, but I will likely connect it to a couple of Bluetooth speakers I have for better sound. I did buy the offered 2-year protection plan, only because I have found that some CD players only last a while before the disc-drive mechanism gives out. The audio is really good considering it’s not name brand like Bose or JBL and it gets really loud if you want it to. My only gripe is that there are two buttons on the remote that don’t do anything. I was hoping they would change the color of the little LED behind the CD or something. Why are they even there if there’s no functionality? Otherwise, good product. Recommended if your old player just broke after reaching veteran status and you need a new one but the old model is no longer available (exactly what happened to me). ... show more

It is so lightweight and takes up no space so plugging it in to an ac outlet is no problem and I do not need batteries anymore. I like the look and design as well. It seems to work well so far. Sound is good. Perfect for listening to music while working at my desk. Only 'complaint' is how to insert the CD. The cover opens up so you need to awkwardly insert the CD from below. I noticed other similar CD players have the same opening so it is what it is.
