[Construction]Poly Tarps are typically made of multiple layers with a woven mesh fabric sandwiched between two or more polyethylene sheets. [Reference Parameter]Tarp Thickness– This is the actual thickness of the tarp measured in mils (1/1000 of an inch). The larger the number, the thicker the tarp. Typical light weight tarps found in most retail or hardware stores are about 4~6 mils.Reinforcement– Tarps have additional reinforcement around the perimeter of the tarp to help prevent ripping and tearing.Perimeter rope– This is a rope which has been sewn inside the hem at the edge of the tarp to add reinforcement strength to the tarp.Hem– The hem is formed by folding the edge of the tarp back onto the tarp and then stitching the entire hemmed area. The media could not be loaded. I use these to stop the terrible wind that comes through my place and ruins my beautiful front porch with rain and wind. Finally after numerous hardware tools to try on my mobile home awning and none looked nice enough like hooks adhesive hooks because the roof is too thin to use anchors, etc I got a brainstorm to use 2-in Velcro. It holds and works beautifully. I don't know why these guys don't put those grommets closer together either but I bought a kit which is a pain anyway. Thank you velcro for saving my front porch and Amazon for having the perfect color! ... show more

Very thin tarp, used it once and when I moved it to spread it out, with a brick on one side to help me lay it flat, immediately put a hole in it when I pulled it on the driveway. Like I get it, probably shouldn’t have done that… but that’s a little sensitive…

Not sure what to write in a review for a tarp. I needed something to cover the front of a wood rack to keep the dogs out, seems to be working. It isn't a heavy duty tarp by any means and it didn't cost what those tarps cost.
