Guard Shield states in the ad that these are light weight duty tarps and they are. I have had lumber and cordwood for decades. I need a certain mm tarp to COVER and a certain mm to use as a windbreak for weather. I needed windbreak. I got windbreak strength. We have high winds, all the time. I've used them for 2 months and they are holding up fine. I drape (secure) them over the openings to the sheds. I use bungee cords to provide some "give". I am pleased with the tarps. I ordered this for my neighbor who likes to cover her patio set during the winter that sits on her porch. The size is great & covers the table and 6 chairs that she stacks up together. We are in Illinois & it is holding up great with the wind also. She is happy with it.

It's every thing it's described to be...but 4ml thickness is 4ml thickness. This is a light duty tarp! My mistake not realizing the one I was replacing was a "heavy duty" one. But, there's always a use for a 9 x 12 tarp that is true to size!

I used this tarp to cover my 250 gallon garden water tank so it didn't get slime in it from the sun. It is extremely strong and durable. I like that it makes the tank seem to disappear instead of being a large white blob in the area.
