This is a great edging tool. With saw-tooth edges, goes into ground like butter. Even a bigger foot will fit well on the spade. I have one for my garden and the other in the trunk of my car to edge family cemetery stones.

Works fine. Sturdy, good length for me. Through bolts to connect handle sections and working end are inelegant, but strong. It's cumbersome to assemble w the included mini wrench. Not a problem w a socket wrench.

This is something that I needed without realizing how much it was needed. I bought a house, and found myself paying for the lawn to be done, and after the lawn was done I always found myself not happy with how it was done and ended up doing it myself. I was using the weed Wacker to do the edging but wanted the edging to look cleaner. A friend of mine suggested getting this, especially the one with the foot plate and I can't express enough how helpful this was. I was able to do the edging perfectly without issue, I also did the beds around the tree to add red mulch, and it was amazing. This is helpful, strong, and you will thank yourself for getting it for sure. This is indeed a great investment. I'm 6 foot 2 and this is the perfect size for me. It's also very comfortable to use, it won't hurt your back or hands. The best thing, because of the foot plate, you will end up doing your edging so much faster with such speed that you will end up doing the flower beds and beds for the trees like I did.

This is light weight and work well in clay soil too. A really good tool for a small woman gardener like me. I was able to edge and remive sod using this.

I had a very hard time using this tool, because you must use a good amount of force to get it to work. I would not recommend this to anyone that light in body weight! I'm not light in body weight, and I still fight it to work for me. It is a good tool though, made strong.
