I like the handsome, classy retro look of this watch. I also love the brown leather band, which adds some sophistication. The watch does have some features, such as displaying the day and a stopwatch feature, among others. However, although the stopwatch feature works the displays are very difficult to see. (I would rather use the stopwatch app on my phone instead.) Sadly, I consider these features to be more as decorations that provide visual interest. The band might be a bit short for some, but it fits me just fine. (I have a moderately thick wrist.) IMO, this is a very nice-looking budget watch that could help to make a great coordinated look. (About 30 bucks at the time of this review.)

A watch is not my primary time-telling device. For me, a watch is a fashion accessory. All I want the watch to do is look good with outfit styles, keep decent time, and be made well enough not to fall apart during simple wear. This is a Quartz watch, which means it is battery-operated. It has a slight tick sound, and each second, the hand snaps to the next second on the face. Some people prefer the higher-end quartz, where the second hand is smoother, but I like both styles. There is something nice about the second hand ticking and moving with each tick. There is a Chronograph feature that gives seconds and minutes up to an hour and seems to work fine, but I cannot imagine a time when I would use that feature. It looks good on the watch, though. There is also a date feature, but while I can read it okay, it is small. The face also has a 24-hour clock hand and graphic to show day or night. Esthetically, the watch looks nice. It has a cheap leather band, but it fits and looks nice. There is some nice color and tone contrast, and the crown is glass, not plastic. Mechanically, it has worked well for several weeks. It might lose or add a second every three or four days. It has a snap on the back, and the watch is not really what I would call waterproof. 3 ATM is okay against rain, sweat, and showering, but not really any kind of submersion under the water except maybe a quick accidental dunk into and out of water. I know it says 90 meters, but that simply means it can withstand the pressure at 90m. So for the money, I like this watch. It works well and looks good with several of my outfits. Mechanically it seems well enough made to withstand normal use. The materials used are in line with the cost. The thing about watches nowadays is that you get highly diminishing returns the more you spend. Yes, this is a cheap watch, but it does not look or feel like a cheap watch. When someone asks me who Guanhao is, I tell them it’s a boutique watchmaker in Japan. Not that most people really care anymore.
