Was not a fit for my 1996 Club Car golf but, with a little drilling it went on nicely! Quality is spot on and I feel it is much safer to ride on the back now

I installed this on my 2012 Club Car Precedent. As mentioned in other reviews the cross rail is not welded perfectly square but it is not super noticeable in my case. The rail has welded on nuts for mounting the front and rear of the frame. I made a template, drilled my frame and used the supplied bolts. The only thing I added was some washers as shims to the rear bolts. I spaced it off of the floor frame because the welds on the floor frame were a little thick on one side and would have prevented it from sitting level. I could have filed them down but decided to space it out instead. I think it looks great and is securely installed. It has screw mounts for a trailer hitch so I’ll buy that next. Well designed and built -very sturdy. You need minumum of 2 to install - heavy ans awkward. But the product is excellent. I'd buy it again.

    • Check your package before you let the driver leave
The item was great. I bent the first one, me bad. The shipping was not so good. The cardboard was torn in several places. The package had close to a role of packing tape wrapped around it to keep it together. It looked like they had something heavy setting on it because the cardboard was crushed on one side. I think the bar is tweaked a bit but not enough to send it back. Traveling now. It works. Will straiten when we get home. ... show more

The item came well packed, color installation instructions, plenty of videos on youtube, nice construccion and sturdiness. I wished it came with black hardware instead of silver (stainless). Otherwise excellent product. I would recommend it.
