Our existing LED ceiling light burned out (go figure), so I replaced it with this one. I let my wife choose the bezel, but I kept the auto-on sensor a surprise, with my fingers crossed for her approval. Thank goodness, she loves it and hopes other ceiling lights fail so I can replace them with this light. My utility box is flush mounted except for the thickness of the durn popcorn ceiling texture. That extra 1/8” prevented the fixture body to be mounted to the cross bar. I could have used longer mounting screws, but I just loosened the outlet box screws a little bit. That solved the problem and the fixture body fitted up snuggly to the ceiling ceiling. It isn’t as bright as our old one, but my wife is more than satisfied with the brightness. ... show more

I love the light that the unit puts out. The only problem I have is that it is to sensitive. I think it goes off when a geico gets close. Other that that it is a good light. Very easy to install. Looks nice.

I am a DIY kind of guy, but not an electrician. So, the multiple wires involved in installing a motion sensor WALL SWITCH was kind of intimidating. That is why this fixture is so superior to a motion sensor wall switch. It is no more complicated than replacing one light fixture with another one. Same simple wiring as the fixture that you are replacing . The motion sensor works beautifully and the LEDs give off about the same amount of light as a 100w, cool spectrum light bulb. Perfect in our pantry, our MBR closet, and our utility room. Yes, I have bought several of these and will never again buy a motion sensor SWITCH. My wife would keep the light on after using our dark walk-in closet in our master bathroom. I installed this motion detector light to eliminate my monitoring. It was easy to replace the old fixture in about an hour however the light would come on every time I walked in the bathroom because the closet has no door. I found that I could mask part of the motion detector with small strips of duct tape to eliminate areas where I did not want to trigger the light to come on. The light is as bright as the two led bulbs in the old fixture. I will update if anything changes. ... show more
