I have used several cervical neck pillows over the years as I have a long neck and if I sleep in an awkward position I wake up with pain. I like this Groye adjustable neck pillow because it has the support I need without being too firm. I do wish there was a bit more of a lip in the front to create more of a cradle the curve my neck when I am on my back, but then it would not be as comforable in the side sleeping position. I have tried the opposite side and even added the insert, but the front side was most comfortable for me without the insert. The outter cover is very soft and removeable/washable, but i still use a pillowcase because without one the fabric started to pill. Overall, this is a good pillow at a very reasonalbe price. This pillow has been a life saver, so much so that I bought a second one for my husband and he says he won't go back to a normal one again. I was having such bad neck and shoulder pain for weeks on end that I finally broke down and bought this hoping it would help. I didn't expect much but my pain is basically gone when I wake up now and I'm waking up feeling more rested. Plus the price is a huge selling point, the standard is just about as much as any fancy pillow you'd find at the store but this one actually works for me! The pillow was fine for both of us the way it came but you can take one of the inserts out to make it lower or contact the company for an extra one to make it higher. I'm a side sleeper and have been meaning to try an ergonomic pillow for a while. I'd recently seen positive results after propping up the sides of my flat standard pillow with folded shirts before investing in a proper pillow. I finally decided to pull the trigger after trying an ergonomic pillow while staying at a friends house, the type with a long trough through the center. I was apprehensive about the idea of the cervical drop in the center and raised sides of this model but found it to be a recommendation for side sleepers. Honestly, I'm blown away by how well this provides support when I'm on my side but doesn't cause any pressure when I occasionally roll to my back. Not much of an adjustment to get used to either. I'm honestly shocked by how good this pillow is for the low price point. I was skeptical. I’ve had the Groye pillow for a couple of months now. This is the first ergonomic pillow I’ve ever used (typically traditional feather/foam/etc.) and I’m not sure that I could go back to a traditional pillow. While it takes a bit to get used to the layout of the pillow, I seem to wake up without neck pain. The pillow is extremely cool to the touch, so my head/neck don’t seem to get hot during the night like with traditional pillows. The pillow is comfortable, but a bit on the softer side so my head and neck seem to sink into the pillow a bit. Having a bit more firmness might help the neck alignment as well, but this is the only thing I have not liked so far. ... show more

I think this pillow is great. I have a 6-year-old son who always takes it to use, so I guess it's his now lol. Whenever I do get a chance to use it, I really love the support it brings. I sometimes have neck and shoulder pain from working at a desk all day. This helps me get comfortable and I found that it's way more comfortable if you have a firmer bed. I was using it with a softer mattress before, and it's not really a good combination because the pillow is already firm and won't give the way a soft mattress will. It may be counterproductive for anyone who has neck and/or shoulder issues. ... show more
