I am using this light to keep my plants alive during the winter months, when I have to take them out of the window, and when they normally would dare the worst. So far, this little artificial light is doing the trick, so I can’t complain there. Honestly, my only gripe is the unfinished nature of the light boards, which gave me a wee bit of a cut when I was assembling them. Nothing a Welly Bravery Badge couldn’t cover (IYKYK) and it healed up pretty quickly. However, I felt that as a mom, that but there deserved a single star knock for safety purposes, because I really feel that shouldn’t have to be a concern. Overall, it’s not a bad product, I just recommend utilizing care and caution, as the sides of the metal board can have some sharp edges. Now on to some other things: The lights have like three different brightness settings. The timer works, but I could not tell you how, because… The directions are pretty much non-existent. Super thin full spectrum lights but like most grow lights on amazon, there was no PAR/PPFD rating provided. Measured these several ways. At 12" away With one light plugged it produces about 98umol/m2/s usable light With two lights plugged in and shining on the same spot it still measures about 98umol/m2/s usable light (the lights are sequential and seem to split the power) When two lights are plugged but only one directly aimed at the measurement point, there is about 60umol/m2/s of usable light For frame of reference: 50–70 umol/m2/s PPFD – Greenhouse, Low Light (Under Bench) 100 umol/m2/s (morning/evening) up to 250 mid-day maximum – Greenhouse, Moderate Light (Bench Level) 200–500 umol/m2/s average with a peak intensities reaching 800-900 – Greenhouse, High Light (Roof Level) 2,000–2,200 umol/m2/s – Outside Direct Sun (Unshaded/Full) The concept of these lights is really good, but execution is a bit disappointing. ... show more

I am using these under counter and was disappointed in the brightness, I had to augment with an aquarium light. However the ease in installation and the flat profile was a plus. I won't buy again just because the panels need more wattage for the price.

I got these months ago and they're still working great! It is a great option for lighting in a shelving unit because of how thin they are and they come with little adhesive strips so no having to drill or nail anything in! The only negative is that I wish the cord between the two light strips was a bit longer but I make it work. I will be ordering again. My plants love them! ... show more

I live in a basement so this was very convenient! I was a bit skeptical at first but it does work! I buy plants from Walmart that are dying and try to revive them and it’s helped me so much! The only down fall is the sticky pads aren’t very good on some surfaces but I don’t really see it as a big deal.
