We live in a ranch style and wanted to replace our clothing hamper with one with wheels. While at it the 3 sections seemed like a good option to separate his/hers cloths. It rolls fine over wood and carpet when full so no more lifting and grunting with a full load of cloths when moving them to the laundry. We've had the normal open cheap Walmart laundry basket for eons. Realized we needed one with a lid and compartments. I did a lot of research on sizes and number of compartments and colors and styles and wheels vs no-wheels, etc. Settled on this one and decided to try it. I have not been disappointed with anything about it. It's easy to lift the lid and toss clothes in each compartment. It rolls very easily from our bedroom to the laundry room, even has a pull strap. Even full of clothes, it rolls easily and quietly across our creaking floor. It comes with a 3 section and 2 section inserts so you don't have to choose.
