I am using this to try to revive a Chinese Elm Bonsai tree. I’d add a photo but the tree would be embarrassed to be seen in the condition it is currently in. The light is surely helping as I am noticing a lot of new growth. The stand is adjustable for height and the light itself is on a flexible “gooseneck” section. You shouldn’t have any problems getting it into a position that accommodates your plant. The timer is simple, it has a 12 & 8 hour button. One simple push. My mother had a couple smaller grow lights that were not so easy to set, I was pleasantly surprised with the simplicity of this switch. The 12-hour timer is convenient, and it looks great in the interior. However, it dries out my bonsai a bit, so I have to water it more often. I haven’t noticed any changes in its condition yet, but I think it likes it, lol

Make sure you are close to a botanist when dealing with inside plants. It's not as simple as turning o n a light. All my plants died. And had to give the light away. Don't do it if you are not close to a professional and know plants. Do not work all day and ignore the plants. They are similar to kids. A twenty-hour operation. A plant around children doesn't work. Your 2-year-old will eat your plant and the dirt. My 2-year-old did. Your animal will pee on the poor plant, especially boys. please consider allergies. The light is pretty and works well. But get ready to have a new baby. No, your children will not take the dog out nor feed it after the honeymoon phase is over. I am sorry. ... show more
