I ordered several while on sale and feel that the quality is good enough for reg price which is a few dollars more than sale price. Anyhow, the flex shafts work well to support the light and can be formed into position fairly easy. The pictures do not show it but mine came with a folding V shaped attachment that the clamp clamps to and it will support the light to stand on center of a shelf, table or whatever flat surface you may need. Point being you do not have to clamp this to anything and can be positioned freely on a flat surface. I have mine in the center of a shelf with two lights going left and other two going right. I have the pots underneath lights of course it it works out well. I can't say about timer as I did not use it but I am sure it is fine. Otherwise it is being used for a few plants I moved from trays to small pots and they are doing fine under it so far. It does seem a bit dim on full brightness and on the red side while using full spectrum. Not sure if that is a big deal or not and provided you use within the distance recommended I see no problem just prefer a whiter brighter (daylight) light is all. Being ELD I am sure these will last a long time and for the price I say I would get these again if needed to expand my indoor growing. ... show more

Really like the flexible arms - you can really position the lights to your liking. Interface is simple and works fine. Quality feel. Would of given a 5 but I don't own a light meter to I cannot determine the quality or power of the output.

Nothing this item is great for seedlings. I've started chives, turnips, collards, and Spanish greens in a tufferware bowel. They doing great.

This grow light came ready to use. It has 3 timer options, multiple LED light options and a large clip that can be affixed to many ledge surfaces. It does not get hot and my plants love the light, since it is really cold in my region. I highly rate this product!
