I needed a no nonsense simple inexpensive hi-hat stand as a gift for a young beginner. It was so inexpensive. I wasn't expecting such good quality. I was happily surprised. I will be looking in to buying some more items from this company.

    • "Heavy Duty"? Well, I am better off with it.
I bought this to replace the cheap and terrible stand that came stock with a used kit. It came pre-broken. Some of the plastic chipped off, but not enough to hinder the function of the stand, nor enough for me to care enough to send it back. It also leans slightly, but I haven't really looked into this to see if the stand is actually bent mildly or if it's just sitting unevenly. I am better off with this stand, for sure. Assembly was easy and it works well with my kit. A small detail: when you put the top hi-hat cymbal all the way at the top of the clutch, the plastic sleeve for the bottom cymbal and the bottom of the clutch will meet before both cymbals can close all the way. That can be fixed by moving the top cymbal closer to the bottom of the clutch or probably just by putting a bigger felt under the bottom cymbal. All things considered, it works. ... show more

This product is one of the worst hi hat stands I have ever bought. Not stable at all. Clunky. The clamp that goes on the shaft to secure the hihat on top doesn’t match the width of the shaft there is like quarter inch gap. Over all trash product wouldn’t recommend. You can get pdp for about 10 more bucks that’s significantly better. ... show more

Not thrilled with the product ... the large center piece (metal tube) slides into the base and doesn't hold tight - not sure if I got a faulty product but I tightened all bolts, etc and it still slides down. I followed the online YouTube tutorial and am pretty certain I assembled correctly. SO because it doesn't hold, the bottom of the cymbal slides down and I have to constantly re-tighten (which doesn't hold put). Thanks ... show more
