I now own 2 of these Cymbal Boom Stand Double Braced Drum Hardware by Griffin Percussion and they do there job well, nicely holding up to a 20-Inch Crash Cymbal. The price is good and worth your money if you are on a budget.

I bought this stand thinking that I would get it fast, since I am part of Prime. it took two weeks, and it is very light, I am using digital cymbals on it, the counter balance weight does not balance the stand any better. It would be perfect for a smaller cymbal, pay another 5-10 dollars and by a DW which is ten times better. serious drummers go else were.

I have a lot of pro gear and just wanted to add a lighter weight boom stand to my gig set. I was very impressed with the quality of this stand medium weight with a removable counter weight on the end of the boom, many adjustment and all around solid, I just ordered another one.

I bought it thinking to put a ride cymbal on it but the material is to week and was waste of money for me, cant hold a ride just small cymbals

I've played with this stand for a while now and I must say that it's a major improvement from playing with straight stands my entire life......although,I thing kind of bothers me a bit,the fact that the stand is really snug in a few stops is kinda annoying,there are no memory locks on the boom,and the part that holds the boom assembly pops out of the top tier.....other than that it's a good stand.
