We are very pleased with our gazebo! It took us about 4 evenings to get it completely built. The bug screen as well as the other curtians are perfect addition. We use the curtians to shield the sun out. It does leak in 2 places, which could be a problem if you have a TV in it like we do. We have put caulk on it and it has seemed to help it tremendously. We just did that a few days ago so we will have to see how it holds up. We bought this because we don't have any covered areas to sit outside or for our grill, and this is perfect for what we needed it for. ... show more

Hmmm where do I start. The frame will be a challenge to those who are not familiar with the instruction book, without any instructions, just picture! And part of the instruction was wrong or labeled incorrectly. And not to mention some of the roof panels weren’t punched right either as I have that in the picture, opposite side also werent punch right either so these two spots were left without any bolt. The gutter system… sucks! It Doesn't have any where for the water to come down off! So it gushing all over the place. To those who are buying this gazebo, it is good but not great! Though I wouldnt want to buy it again cause the installing of this roof panels are a pain and because the bolts that were given and instructed by the instruction were shorter than needed! They should’ve just provided all longer length instead of the shorter ones! Bolt #7 was not needed! Needed all #8 cause it was impossible for #7 to go in where it was intended for! Lastly, you should not tighten the all roof panels until it is all in, have them a bit loose so its easily adjusted. The drawing instruction definitely needs some wording and update!!! I bought insurance for this just incase, but i wouldnt buy this unit again if it wasnt a hassle to disassemble and return…. ... show more

We had a 10x12 canvas type gazebo for 16 years and got tired of replacing the canvas top every three years or so we bought this Gressum metal 12x16 gazebo in July during the 4th of July special price and free shipping sale. It was shipped by UPS in 3 boxes and the driver helped take it to the back yard. My wife and I are in our 70’s and we assembled it with no problems.. The instructions just showed drawing assembly sketches and no written instructions.But being a retired sheetmetal worker it was no problem to figure out.. it took us about 10-12 hours.. ... show more

There are so many parts that would have to be tooled, that I'd bet the gazebos from all these companies are made in the same factory in China. If that is the case, might as well buy the least expensive one. The assembly of the roof panels was the most difficult part because there are so many holes to line up to insert the screws, that it didn't always work. I had to drill a few holes, and use some glue to make it all work. The colors between panels doesn't always match, but most people probably won't notice. The design is generally good, except with the cross-braces on the roof, where you are able to install them in the wrong location, which means the holes don't line up for the roof panels. The instructions have no verbiage and lack detail in some places to ensure you'll make the right choice. Came in 3 boxes, on 3 different days and took me about 10-12 hours to assemble. It took about 32 manhours to assemble, and we're really happy with the results! A little more than what the instructions say. You'll need 3 people during the assembly/erection of the frame, but it's an easy 2 person job after that (although it takes a while). The anchors/bolts provided in the kit are a little lite for my taste, but I'm an engineer. I spent my own money to get sturdier anchors and bolts for anchoring in our concrete patio. A battery powered hand held drill is a good tool choice over screw drivers (careful to not over torque). Follow the instructions! We've had ours up and in use for a month and we are really enjoying it! ... show more

the assembly instruction book stated to read the manual carefully before installation, but there weren't any words in the insturction book only pictures, which was okay for some things but there was some of the pictures that weren't very clear as to what you needed to do, there were a few times where we had to change some things around because we didn't get them installed properly because it wasn't real clear in the pictures. My husband & I managed to get it put together, just the 2 of us, but I would highly recommend that you have 5-6 people for a 12x20 gazebo. It took the 2 of us 2 full days & 3 half days to get it assembled ... show more

This is a sturdy product. It showed up later than the estimated delivery date. Many of the parts had dents in it, luckily I have the tools to fix sheet metal.
