  • Blows out Sand, Dirt, and Pebbles in our Garage Easily!
Style: Blower Size: (160 MPH / 150 CFM) Corded
I was leery of buying this electric blower as it looked so small and I wondered if it could really blow the dirt, sand, and small rocks off of our garage. But the price was very agreeable, so I went ahead and ordered it. Needless to say, my husband loves this thing! We have an open garage, no garage door and we also have an extremely sandy driveway. No matter how many times you sweep the wind just loves to keep blowing it back into the garage, and with dark hardwood floors you can literally see every footprint if you come from outside. It's annoying as all get out so even with rugs, we try our best to keep the garage swept at least once a week. Now we do it countless times as this blower makes it so easy!! You just plug it in and go! It not only manages to get ALL the dirt and sand off the concrete, but it also gets all those little pebble and rocks out of there too! This blower has enough force to easily clean the garage in a matter of minutes! I use it on the front porch to get the dirt off the concrete and to also blow away any spider webs and bugs that manage to die on my windowsills. (I live in Louisiana home to the countless beetles, mosquito's, love bugs, daddy long legs, and other bugs I try to stay away from) I don't know how well this will work on grass to blow up leaves as we don't have any (and thank goodness we have no pine straw either in our yard), but from the impact it has on our garage, I can definitely say it is worth a try! It works great for our purposes, and was definitely worth it! ... show more

  • Nice inexpensive, powerful, consumer-grade blower for clearing walkways and driveways.
Style: Blower Size: (160 MPH / 150 CFM) Corded
Like with many other buyers, the first one I bought worked for five minutes and then died, leaving a smell like burned carbon bushings (I suspect the cause). But it was easy with Amazon to return the item AT NO COST with one click. They contacted UPS and the next day the UPS man stopped by with a shipping label and took the piece back. All I had to do was print out a packing slip and put it inside the box and re-seal it with tape. Three days later, a new one arrived that worked great. Why did the original fail? Infant mortality and burn-in. At this price, they cannot afford to run these for an hour to test them to make sure they don't fail due to what we call "infant mortality" in the EE world. So the odds of getting a "bad" one are somewhat higher, but the return policy is so painless, it is not a big deal. I could have asked for a REFUND but I liked the unit and gave it a second try. It is lightweight and powerful for its size. Fairly quiet, too. Perfect for blowing leaves off sidewalks and driveways and patios and roofs. No, it will not blow leaves off your lawn like my neighbor's "yard man" does with his obnoxiously loud gasoline powered leaf blower (which also blows away the topsoil at the same time). I am not sure why people want to blow leaves off grass when a lawnmower just ingests them - far easier in my opinion. For a homeowner wanting to clear leaves and pine needles from walkways, this is perfect. Cheap and powerful and it doesn't cost a lot. If you are starting a yard service or using this for industrial applications, no, this isn't for you. It is a consumer-grade device. If you buy one, run it for at least a half-hour or so to make sure it is working right. If it goes bad, don't try to take it apart to "fix" it (as one reviewer did) or whine about the "cost of postage" (as another reviewer did) as you can return it for FREE to Amazon and they will send you another one within a week. This is my second greenworks product and I am happy with both (weedeater was my other purchase). As for the product being "green" or not (the subject of another reviewer's complaint) who gives a darn? Nice product and about what I expect for under $30!!!! UPDATE: The owner's manual is explicit about using a correct-sized power cord and not using an excessively long power cord. We had this unit for almost four years and the power switch went bad. I jumpered it (so it went on when you plugged it in) figuring that my $25 leaf blower was about to become history. I was right. Yesterday, it was working fine (and it does have a lot of power for its size!) and then it started slowing down. Sparks flew from the top where the contact brushes are. I suspect it is toast. I am sad to see it go, but I guess for 25 bucks, this is all you can expect. It is like those cordless electric drills. You can buy an 18-volt drill at Tractor Supply for less than a dollar-a-volt. But they only last a year or two, it seems. The really nice ones cost hundreds, and if you are a contractor, that is a worthwhile expense. But as a homeowner, maybe not so much. I am thinking of getting a cordless leaf blower this time around as it seems the world is going cordless, and it is so much easier not to have to deal with cords. We have a cordless vacuum now and my neighbor has a cordless lawn mower. And for not much more than a corded blower, you can get a cordless one. ... show more

  • Beware buying "Used" UPDATED
Style: Blower Size: (160 MPH / 150 CFM) Corded
I bought "Used - Like New" and it came dented/scratched and the motor was broken. Not satisfied with my purchase, but Amazon was able to refund me. UPDATE: After my "Used- Like New" reorder I am happy to say the product was in the correct condition as described and works perfectly. It's small but packs a punch! I'm happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Timesaver and worth it
Style: Blower Size: (160 MPH / 150 CFM) Corded
This little electric blower gets the job done. I have a gas powered blower for yard work and heavy blowing and bought this specifically for drying my vehicles after I wash them. I love it. No chemicals to spill out, blows to a spot free finish and saves me towels and time. It does not come with a cord and is a little noisy which I expected both would be the case. I wish the airstream was a little wider but overall Im happy with it. Seems durable, lightweight so easy to hold across the roof, and affordable. I'll edit the review on durability once it eventually fails. ... show more

  • Lightweight Powerful Blower at a price that can't be beat
Style: Blower Size: (160 MPH / 150 CFM) Corded
In reviewing this, I took into account the price as one of the key factors in my rating and quite honestly, I would find it very difficult to find a leaf blower that could be better at the price I paid for it. I bought it for less than $15 on a Prime Day deal, but as of the writing of this review, it is still under $25. You can't go wrong at that price. I do have a "better" leaf blower that I use to keep my deck and sidewalks free from leaves and grass clippings, but even though it is more expensive and can convert to a vacuum, those features come at a price and with added weight. My teen children complain that the other blower is too heavy, but this one is several pounds lighter and is very strong for its size and power. I haven't used it for an extended period of time yet as I just received it, but it will probably replace the more expensive one for daily use because the millennials, generation Y, (whatever my kids call themselves these days) can't use the weight excuse anymore. Likelihood is that it won't take them more than 5 minutes to do the jobs I ask them to do anyway so it shouldn't get too heavy in that short of time. Even if it conks out at the end of the season, I can't complain because I paid so little for it, but if it's worth the hassle, it also has a four year warranty. In short, I don't think you will go wrong if you are able to get it at anything near the price I paid for it. ... show more

  • expensive Moroccan tassel that the little monster decided to suck up into it
Style: Blower Size: (160 MPH / 150 CFM) Corded
This baby kicks. I've owned several comparable blowers to this over the years, and this one leads the pack. I used it at least a cpl of times a week to blow off front and back decks, as well as in and around the yard during the fall seasons. It was a gem for each use. Packs such a punch...so much so that when I was using it on back covered deck one day... I suddenly heard it yelling out and felt something pulling at it trying to gank it from me. I I looked down only to see it bathed in red. I'm assuming I got a bit too close to a large curtain hugged tight by an overly large, ornate, expensive Moroccan tassel that the little monster decided to suck up into it. I actually managed to take it apart and unwind every individual string. After two hours of this surgical procedure, I saved the lives' of both the blower and the dang interruptive, suicidal tassel. Then two days later, a friend borrowed the blower, and I've not seen it since. I would buy this again, but already had one that I'd forgotten we had at studio space, so just use it instead, for now. Only thing negative I can say about the kidnapped victim, is that the female end of any extension cord I used for it would not stay connected firmly, and it would shut in and out with any sort of movement without taping it tight. (Which, didn't really bother me as I had a cord that I kept attached to it, so didn't notice it once they became one.) ... show more

Fine for light work with a cord. Worth the money. Not the greatest, but does its job for small jobs.
