  • Quiet, Powerful, and Worth EVERY Penny!
Size: 42" ZTR
This mower is absolutely fantastic. The 60V batteries provide plenty of power, and I can mow my yard with ease on a single charge. The 42” cutting deck covers a lot of ground quickly, making mowing much faster compared to my old gas mower. One of the best features is how quiet it runs—no loud engine noise, no fumes, and no dealing with gas or oil. It starts instantly with the push of a button, and the handling is smooth and responsive. I also appreciate the low maintenance compared to gas mowers. The cut quality is excellent, leaving the lawn even and clean every time. The seat is comfortable, and the overall build feels sturdy and durable. This mower has completely changed my lawn care routine for the better—I actually look forward to mowing now. Highly recommend for anyone wanting the convenience of electric with the performance of a gas mower! ... show more

  • It's amazing
Size: 42" ZTR
I bought the zero turn. I have 1.01 acres and I finished with 16% battery left. That's including me doing hot laps in my yard at the full 8 mph. 8 doesn't sound fast but trust me, it is scootin' fast. I mowed primarily on the slow setting for navigating around trees etc but the fast mode really helped when I hit the large straight patches. Best part is IT STILL CUTS IN REVERSE. The deck is directly under you, so you can't always go forward in far enough under bushes or obstacles. It's super easy to spin around and back into it. Bonus is it can haul 200 lbs in the trunk and tow 300 lbs. I'm towing a full size 6x12 trailer around my yard. I can charge all 4 batteries simultaneously on a typical 20 amp household circuit and not flip a breaker. Batteries charge in 60 minutes. It has led headlights to mow at dusk. That will come in handy in August. Its a load of stress off me knowing I won't have to fully service the battery, belts, spark plugs and oil at the start of every season. It charges fast and just goes. The only thing I zonk is I wish I could plug the entire machine in and charge the batteries as they sit in the machine. Currently I have to make two trips to take the batteries out and carry them to the charger. Overall I'm impressed with it and would buy it again over a gas powered zero turn. ... show more

  • LOVE THIS MOWER!
This Greenworks riding mower is excellent for my needs. I have about 1/3 of an acre yard with thick St Augustine grass that grows fast here in Texas! While getting used to the mower, I would have about 60% charge left when I was finished. Now I usually cut the yard three times before reaching 50% and recharging. Very quiet and cuts very evenly. I like the narrow width as I only had a 32" gate I could use to go between front and back yard. The seat is comfortable and the ride is fairly smooth on my terrain. The best part is this has reduced the amount of time I spend cutting grass and even my teenage son offers to cut the grass now! This is no zero-turn, so you will have to figure the best pattern to cut your yard, but it is great for the long sections. Cutting in reverse does require you to press a button to keep the blade spinning, but you can let go once you are reversing and the blade stays on. Packaging and delivery was terrific and assembly was very simple. You will have a large (but lightweight) metal framed pallet to dispose of, so keep that in mind. I have only used the mulch setting, but plan to use the bagger in the fall when leaves begin to rain down. The mower seems to be very durable and has some considerable weight to it particularly in the rear where the batteries are stored. The charging port allows for charging without removing the batteries which I find to be very convenient and it does not take long to restore a full charge. ... show more

  • I would recommend this mower for sure
I received my mower and wanted to leave my review. Shipping was fairly quick considering it has to be shipped freight. Packaging was excellent. It is crated using a heavy duty metal framing, not wood. Very safe for transport and no damage to anything upon arrival. Assembly is fairly easy. I did not get the bolts that hold the steering column cover in place so had to go buy some. Not a big deal, but quality control should make sure stuff like this doesn't happen. Especially considering the price you pay. The chute that disperses the grass if you're mulching and not bagging is very lacking. I'm not 100% sure, but think this may not even be the correct one for the mower. There's nothing that actually attaches it. You lift the cover that is there if you're bagging, put the chute in place, and then lower the cover down on it to hold it in place. The spring is super heavy duty and pushes very hard against the chute so I wouldn't think it would come off if it was the proper chute. It's like the chute is too wide for the opening and is for a larger deck mower other than the 30". It kept coming off over and over. At this point I'm not using it and have the cover held open with a bungee. Not ideal for sure. I haven't assembled or installed the bagger or tried it yet. Will probably save that till the fall when leaves start falling. The operation of the mower is excellent. Mine came with 4 8ah batteries PLUS the optional suitcase battery. I charged to 100% before using. My front yard is fairly small, but I have a pretty good sized back yard. The back grows fast and was overgrown because of the constant rain we've been having. To the tune of about 6-8" tall. I cut the front and moved to the back. I set my deck at 3.5" tall and this mower glided through it easy. I went over my yard multiple times mowing up the grass that had been discharged till it looked beautiful. This this has all the power you could ask for. It will mow in reverse. You just have to push the reverse button first before backing up. When you go forward it is automatically deactivated. It has a low speed and high speed button. I choose the low speed because I have no need to mow at 6-7 mph. It seems to be built well and a solid machine even though everything is plastic except for the mower deck and wheels. I'm a big guy and felt very comfortable standing on the deck in front of the seat. The seat is very nice and very comfortable. The steering does bind slightly when you turn the wheel as far as it will go. It's not a huge deal, but can be a little annoying. It does turn very sharp! Almost to the point of being a zero turn, but not quite. All in all I am very satisfied at this point. If this is the proper chute for it, it's pretty mickey mouse in my opinion. To be honest I prefer to have the flap bungeed open anyway. That is my reason for 4 starts instead of 5. For the cost it should definitely fit better and stay in place. I'm hopping the bagger works well come fall. As far as durability and longevity, that remains to be seen. I mowed my whole yard, again going over the whole back yard several times to mulch up the tall grass I had to cut, and still had 75% battery life left. I was pretty impressed with that. The headlights seem to be bright, but it wasn't dark so I can't really say how much they light up. They come on default when the mower is running so there's no turning them off. I found it strange that they also come on when you are charging. Since there is power to the unit I guess the system cannot tell the difference between the key being turn on vs the charger being hooked up. I would definitely recommend this mower even with the chute issue. I may mess with it some more and see if there's a possibility that it's user error, but honestly there's only one way it goes on and I don't see how I could be putting it on wrong. I have no regrets with my purchase at this point though.. ... show more
