This Greenworks riding mower is excellent for my needs. I have about 1/3 of an acre yard with thick St Augustine grass that grows fast here in Texas! While getting used to the mower, I would have about 60% charge left when I was finished. Now I usually cut the yard three times before reaching 50% and recharging. Very quiet and cuts very evenly. I like the narrow width as I only had a 32" gate I could use to go between front and back yard. The seat is comfortable and the ride is fairly smooth on my terrain. The best part is this has reduced the amount of time I spend cutting grass and even my teenage son offers to cut the grass now! This is no zero-turn, so you will have to figure the best pattern to cut your yard, but it is great for the long sections. Cutting in reverse does require you to press a button to keep the blade spinning, but you can let go once you are reversing and the blade stays on. Packaging and delivery was terrific and assembly was very simple. You will have a large (but lightweight) metal framed pallet to dispose of, so keep that in mind. I have only used the mulch setting, but plan to use the bagger in the fall when leaves begin to rain down. The mower seems to be very durable and has some considerable weight to it particularly in the rear where the batteries are stored. The charging port allows for charging without removing the batteries which I find to be very convenient and it does not take long to restore a full charge.

This mower is absolutely fantastic. The 60V batteries provide plenty of power, and I can mow my yard with ease on a single charge. The 42” cutting deck covers a lot of ground quickly, making mowing much faster compared to my old gas mower. One of the best features is how quiet it runs—no loud engine noise, no fumes, and no dealing with gas or oil. It starts instantly with the push of a button, and the handling is smooth and responsive. I also appreciate the low maintenance compared to gas mowers. The cut quality is excellent, leaving the lawn even and clean every time. The seat is comfortable, and the overall build feels sturdy and durable. This mower has completely changed my lawn care routine for the better—I actually look forward to mowing now. Highly recommend for anyone wanting the convenience of electric with the performance of a gas mower!

I bought the 42 inch riding mower zero turn radius. Absolutely love it! We own a business in town with some tight areas to maneuver and 42 inch fits perfectly. We have 1/2 an acre and it takes about 30% of battery power - which is indicated on an LED dial right on the side of the mower - to mow the entire lawn. We have some bumpy spots and the deck moves freely without scalping at 3.5 inches height although it’s adjustable. Love the power drive button that allows me to push it once and go much faster for transport across the parking lot. I’ve used gas powered similar mowers for almost 59 years and this took a few minutes to get used to. It’s much faster than similar gas powered mowers because the power is instant. So it’s easy to cause jerking. The key is to just slow down. The mower has a standard mowing speed with standard mowing blade speed. It felt slow at first but it does a beautiful job cutting. When I tried to mow faster with faster blade turn the power level dropped quickly. In regular speed I’m confident I could cut three times without charging. On high speed probably only one time and with poorer cutting quality. I will caution that it came freight delivery on a metal pallet rack system. The online video walks you through disassembly and then you just drive it off. But you have to recycle the 4x8 foot pallet somewhere.

Edit after a few uses. Three stars to zero if I could. This mower is awful with no redeeming qualities. EVERYTHING about is a struggle. The cut is bad. The tires tear up the grass. It is extraordinarily loud. This is by far the worst purchases I have ever made. I thought I was saving $1000. Instead I am losing $3500. Because I was limited to being able to get the mower through a gate my options for battery powered mowers was extremely limited. The price was excellent. Delivery was a challenge. The mower has excellent battery life and cuts nicely. The bagger is an abomination. It is heavy, fussy and difficult to empty. If you mow slowly, it picks up the grass fine. If you try any speed it leaves clumps behind. The hose port is a nice feature to keep the deck clean however it is placed on an awkward location and it is VERY DIFFICULT to get on and off. I have already broken a hose. The one piece pedal is too small and poorly designed. My foot constantly slips off it. This mower has ZERO ZERO ZERO suspension and rattles along. I can't imagine it will last long but I am old.
