The airflow is fantastic — it moves even heavy, wet leaves without any trouble, and the backpack design makes it comfortable to use for longer periods. The only downside is the battery life. At full power, I get about 30 minutes of runtime, which goes by quickly when tackling a big area. I definitely wish I had purchased two extra batteries so I could swap them out and keep going without waiting for a recharge. Overall, the blower itself is excellent: strong, easy to handle, and great for heavier yard work. I like it alot. When using in high throttle it will drain the battery faster. The power is really good. It was easy to assemble. I thought about buying the bigger one with 2 batteries just to have 2 lol

We purchased the Green Works Leaf Blower in October 2025. It worked great blowing leaves. Purchased a second battery in November 2025. It worked great for blowing snow off the deck, sidewalk and driveway. In December we needed to return the second battery since it just died. January 1 went to blow 1" of light snow off the deck and got to the sidewalk and the blower died. The battery that came with the blower will not charge. We bought the Green Works blower because Consumer Report gave it a very good rating. Now we either try another battery or a different brand. ... show more

I have several Greenworks machines, and they are all awesome. I was able to put this blower together quite easily. Tried it out in my driveway, and it works great--lots of power, lightweight, and easy to operate. I am 5 feet tall/100 pounds, so the harness is very big on me, but if I cinch it down as small as it goes, it fits like an extra bulky backpack. Just one question: What is this extra gray knob, which came in a separate plastic bag along with the clamps that go around the vent hose, for?I don't see it in the instructions or anywhere to attach it. ... show more

Excellent for blowing leaves. Blower is lightweight and has a lot of power. I used the blower on the lowest speed setting and it worked great. Sufficient run time. Rapid charger worked well restoring battery power.

The blower works fine. I was hoping for a bit more time on 1 charge. I was using turbo…. But still. Only lasted 15 minutes The real disappointment was that it was obviously a returned product. Had not been used but you could tell by packaging. Even worse was missing a bolt. I had to find something I had to get it together. And d we livery was 3 days late…. But that is UPS not the seller ... show more

    • This is a VERY powerful leaf blower

I had a 6 year old Dewalt 20v blower rated at 400 cfm & 90 mph. This Greenworks blower (that I just got) is rated at 730 cfm and 190 mph and it sure seems to be roughly twice as powerful as the ratings implied it would be. Don't know how long the 40v 5-ah battery charge will last. Based on limited use I would think 10-15 minutes at full power. ChatGPT says higher CFM is more effective for pushing a lot of dry leaves across grass (not using the blower tapered nozzle). Higher MPH (using the tapered nozzle) is more useful for wet or matted leaves and debris stuck in grass. So not attaching the tapered nozzle for blowing leaves on lawn was VERY effective. I'm VERY happy with the power of this blower. ... show more
