  • 5.0 out of 5 stars It ain't easy being green
Size: 6Ah Battery & Charger Included Style: 40V
I've had this mower for about 2 1/2 years and it's been a good investment. It can power through my overgrown backyard on a single charge and will also do the front if the grass isn't as tall. Mulching leaves saves my back during the fall which is very much appreciated. I have not had any battery issues so I would consider getting other green works tools. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars GreenWorks Push Mower - Decent Mower
Size: 6Ah Battery & Charger Included Style: 40V
I purchased the GreenWorks push mower because my five year old Earthwise push mower’s battery was dead and I couldn’t purchase a replacement battery anymore. Unfortunately that is one of the cons in purchasing these types of items - you are stuck with their batteries and once they stop manufacturing the batteries, you are stuck with a mower that you can’t use. Now there are some PROS to this mower that I really like - it cuts fantastically, is very lightweight and I mowed a lot of ground before the battery went dead. Now the CONS - the mower is bigger than what I expected. My old Earthwise mower was a 19 inch mower and it was very compact even if the battery was almost the size of a car battery. I could get in between bushes with no problem. With the GreenWorks mower, I’m often afraid I’m going to break the plastic while trying to get in between bushes. Also, even though I charged the battery over night, I felt that the battery did not last very long compared to my old Earthwise. Also, there is no way to check the remaining charge of the battery unless you stop the mower, open the battery compartment and push the button. On the Earthwise mower, all you needed to do is look at the rear of the mower and the indicator lights were right there! All in all I like the mower. I feel it mows very well, is light weight enough for a small female to push it and it was very easy to assemble out of the box. I don’t think it holds up well as far as the battery charge to mow more than my old Earthwise and I really think the price was a bit pricy! My old Earthwise only cost me $129 five years ago. When you look at how gas fell negatively and is now back on the rise, I’m not going to complain because I don’t have to deal with the smell, the mess, the price of gas or the loud noise a gas powered mower makes. Oh, one thing I also want to rave about - the mowing width is wonderful and where it took almost 40 minutes to cut my front lawn, only now takes me about 15 minutes! Who can complain about that ! ... show more

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars Buyers remorse
Size: 6Ah Battery & Charger Included Style: 40V
First impressions were seeing that the shell containing the blade was bent in shipping so the blade kept smacking the shell. This was an easy fix all I had to do was hammer out the dent but it being easily dented is a sign of quality. I charged the battery to full, double checked on the battery itself and the app and get to mowing. Halfway through the battery dies and not only do I have to wait for it to charge again but I have to wait for it to cool down so it can charge. At this rate I’m going to need 2 batteries for my backyard and 2 batteries for my front and each are $180…I wish I just bought a gas mower Second impressions: even worse, mower bogs down on heavy/wet grass and just cuts out. Battery overheats and drains faster than you can say "i shouldve bought gas" ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly Poor Ergonomics design on Battery Ports > Revisited
Size: 6Ah Battery & Charger Included Style: 40V
See my update on the LMF 413 version. This is my review for the M210T model . My initial reaction is.. how could they make such a beautiful piece of machinery and them totally jam it with a battery port that DOES NOT work for ALL their older original style g-max batteries. You know... the ones you and I both have 10 of? Oh you can get one in... and it powers fine.. but then just try to remove it! No where to grip it to pull it out! Needs an ejection button!! Horrible user ergonomics in my eye.. sheesh.. What a oversight! You WILL NEED Elite batteries minimum for ease of use with this mower in any manner to make it easier to remove the battery.. Don't like that at all. 04/18/2020 AMAZON has buried my review under dozens of reviews NOT for the 21 inch mower.. I've used the mower twice... the cut is good, power suffices, batteries do deplete much faster than the 19 inch DigiPro mower I have. The battery port situation sucks. I will dremel the inside port sides to open them up and get back with more photos. Still a 3 star rating as this battery port issue literally ruins an otherwise decent machine . Fire the butthead who designed this !! Update: 04/03/2021 I purchased the LMF413 version of this 40V Gmax 21" walk behind mower. The battery box has been redesigned & the batteries sit higher in the compartment making it far easier to remove . This unit also auto switches between both batteries , which makes way more sense. I can now put 2 6Ah batteries in my mower and cut grass till my legs are sore before it ever runs out of battery power . NOTE : those high number 6 Ah batteries do make the mower a bit harder to push.. increases the weight! ... show more

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Greenworks does not include ANY batteries, even though two are advertised with the product.
Size: 4Ah & 2Ah Battery & Charger Included Style: 40V
The mower, itself, is a terrific product. It is astonishingly light and maneuverable. It is well constructed. It has ample power to cut the thickest grass. The problem is with the lack of batteries, with the product, and the lack of customer service. I bought improved batteries, at my expense, to make the mower work. After months of attempting to contact Greenworks to get batteries I have stopped trying. ... show more
