This is my first electric mower. I’ve used this a couple of times now and I have been impressed. It mulches well and it cuts evenly. I have about 1/3 acre and a single battery and a single charge was plenty to finish the job. Hurray! No more smelly gas in my garage. My only suggestion is the wheels - I’d like them to be a little more sturdy and not made of plastic. Otherwise very solid product. Definitely recommend. ... show more

    • Broke in box and start button stuck on first use

Cam lock and knob for upper handle was bent in box and was unable to remove without cutting it off. Greenworks customer service would not answer their phone so I was forced to buy the part. I ended up buying the part twice because the first order got stuck in transit before finally showing up two weeks later. Upon first starting of the mower the start button got stuck and could not start again until I pried the start button back up. Cheap plastic and likely won’t survive long in the Arizona heat. Disappointed with the quality on this product from the time I removed it from the box. Also disappointed with Greenworks customer service. Just tried to start the mower which would be my 2nd time using it after the first fiasco. It won’t even start. Terrible product. Upon using the product for the 2nd time it would not start. Battery is fully charged. Greenworks customer service and chat function is the worst. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT IS A SCAM AND THE PRODUCT SHOD BE RECALLED AND ANYONE WHO PURCHASED IT SHOULD BE FULLY REFUNDED. ... show more

Older adult yard about 1/2 acre or so. Wanted not to have to hassle with gas and my heavy lawnmower. Have arthritis in both knees pretty bad also almost spent more for the self propelled version but did not need it! This mower is lightweight and so easy to use. Yard has lots of pine cones, sweet gum balls and chipmunk dirt mounds. Had to play with the height settings due to that but have no issues with it cutting. Greenworks customer service was super to work with in the included battery not working and sent me a new one quickly. Wow, what an amazing mower. This is the 3rd mower bought in the last 5 years and was the best out of all 3. The power is better than the others I’ve had and only one battery vs 2. The safety push start button and the wheel height lever are simple and easy to use. The mower blows the grass into the bag, using the entire bag and not clogging at the front. The lowest height option means no weed-eating between our fence and street. I’d give this more than 5 stars if I could. 🤩🥰 ... show more

I really like this little mower. I hope it lasts. It looks kind of like a kid’s toy. The plastic could be thicker. I have used it front and back yards, twice. Each time fun to use. Nice and quiet and light. I like the bag is small so I remember to dump the greenery, before it gets too heavy. Takes up small space in garage. **Only annoyance so far was the delivery. The company said it would arrive in one day, but it took more like a week and the updates on the delay were poor. I am an older, but fit person. Perfect for me. ... show more
