This is my 3rd acquisition in my octogenarian power toolkit, light but husky and easy to operate. It cuts grass easily and evenly, and even clears and mulches tough brush that has been bushwhacked recently. I wish I had one just like this 60 years ago!

The mower itself works great when the battery works. However, the battery never held a charge. We have a very small yard, and with 4.0Ah battery, it should've easily mowed it twice or more with no problems--but we couldn't get through one mow without the battery needing to be recharged. When we went to Greenworks' support website to file a product replacement claim through their warranty program, it wouldn't process our claim. We submitted our claim twice thinking maybe the first one didn't go through for some reason... but still, NOTHING. ... show more

Buy at your own risk. Worked great the first season I had it. Less than a year later my battery went bad. Read the reviews about not being able to get a battery through the 3 yr warranty, but tried anyway. Seems maybe they have upgraded their process because I will have a new battery delivered by Fed Ex by tomorrow (2 day wait time) which is pretty nice. Hope this one lasts longer. ... show more

I sharpened the blade and wire wheeled the coating off the blade and the cut is very nice. Folds up nice to fit in our overcrowded shed. I needed a 2nd battery with 1/2+ acre yard. The lightweight and no pull starting are awesome

I was really disappointed to receive this new mower and find that the battery cannot be charged using the included battery charger. I don't know if the problem is with the battery or with the charger, but the battery won't charge at all. So, I'm returning the mower.
