I own several other Greenworks tools. I am very pleased with all of them. Since batteries can be shared, I have extra power on hand for any job and for back up during a power outage. This sweeper is well designed, balanced, firm handle, light, controls are easy to access and utilize. Nice mph power, does a good job on decks, patios and walkways. Just be aware if this is your first blower/sweeper purchase, it is more of a sweeper than a blower. It'll sweep leaves etc off a flat surface/short distances but its not really intended to blow leaves off your lawn or other natural areas. For that you need one of the other Greenworks blowers. I received this item today and it came with a partially charged battery so I was able to test it out right away. I realized when purchasing this that it is not meant for huge jobs of big wet piles of leaves. After all, its battery powered. But out of all battery operated blowers I looked at, this one is the only simple lightweight blower that had a wind power of 150 mph. I had a major back surgery with pins and screws put through my lower back and hips. I needed something very lightweight and this item did not disappoint! It cleaned off the debri on my concrete patio and was much easier and quicker to use than any broom. Sweeping with a broom would have laid me up for days but this was so refreshing. I'm not sure on the weight but it felt like no more than 5 or 6 lbs. It was easy to maneuver and self explanatory right out of the box. I didn't need to look at the directions though I will surely do that. I did purchase an extra battery for this item and the downside to that is that they are very expensive. But this is battery powered so of course the run time on full power is not going to be very long and I wanted to make sure I can get the job done without having to stop and charge for an hour. But this is a huge convenience compared to dragging around a cord when I don't even have any plug ins on the outside of my house. And I've owned a gas blower before, sure they are much more powerful but not always easy to start, gave me nothing but problems, and it was very heavy. As of now, I gave this 4 out of 5 stars only because I haven't tested the product on a full battery yet. I will edit my comment when I've had time to use this item some more. Again, please keep in mind that this item is not meant for huge heavy wet leaf blowing jobs. But it worked well on dry leaves, debri, and sticks. ... show more

Needed a lightweight electric blower and since I already have 3 other Greenworks 40v garden tools I decided to try this one. First impression is that it is very light, secondly it works pretty well compared to my heavy gas powered Stihl that I can't start anymore. This Greenworks blower did everything that I wanted it to do, so I am pleasantly surprised. My only complaint is that the off/on switch is easy to turn on but very difficult to turn off. I had to take off my gloves and use my pinky fingernail to turn off the unit. Wish they would have raised the switch a little more. All in all this is a keeper. ... show more

I like the fact that it is very light and easy to handle w/ just one hand, but if you want a serious blower this one is just not powerful enough for most jobs. I was expecting much more power for 150mph - maybe the air is moving at that speed, but it is a very small volume of air that comes out of it, so it just doesn't blow enough air to blow things around. I am considering getting the bigger and more powerful GreenWorks 40V G-Max DigiPro model to replace this. Pros: The G-Max 40V battery system is compatible w/ the Greenworks 40V G-Max mower I own, so for me, it was almost worth getting this just for the extra charger and battery which would have cost almost as much if purchased separately. Also, it is handy for light-duty work like blowing out the dust and sand off the floor of the garage and patio and around the front door where I used to clean w/ a broom and/or shop vac before. It is also adequate for blowing light, dry leaves, grass, dry sand/dirt off the driveway and sidewalk for a short distance Cons: For anything that is heavy or clumped, or damp and heavy, it just doesn't have enough power to do the job. It has difficulty blowing heavier things like clumps of freshly cut and damp grass clippings and pine needles. One of the things I was hoping to use this for was gutter cleaning. I used to use a corded blower but the long cord made it hazardous for use on the roof. However, this Greenworks 24252 cordless blower just doesn't have enough power to blow most of the junk in the gutters. Anything denser/heavier than dry oak leaves would not even budge, even when I put the nozzle right up on it - never mind the wet pine needles and damp, decomposing leaves which I ended up having to loosen by hand and scooping up w/ a trowel; the blower was just useful for blowing out the small, loose pieces left behind by the trowel. Summary: all in all, a super lightweight and handy tool for light duty work, but don't expect a powerful workhorse. Price is right, considering the value of the included battery and charger, esp. for someone who already owns other G-Max 40V tools and looking to acquire a spare battery and charger cheaply. ... show more
