The blower is light and blows well. However it could be a little more stronger, so it could blow further and heavier debris. Also the battery drains too fast and the charging station is huge. Because it is light it is soft in your arms. The build quality is aligned with other brands in the market.

This was easy to assemble. 2 pieces, I believe it was. The battery itself does not take awhile to charge, which is nice. Especially if it dies halfway through a job. It doesn't a really good job of blowing leaves and small debris. My only thing is that I wish it was a little more powerful. It does a great job regardless, but a Lil more power would be nice. However, that has nothing to do with the company that makes it, and has everything to do with me. This was the first one I ever purchased, so I know that next time ill get something with a little more power. All in all its a great tool! I feel powerful using it! ... show more

I like the fact that it is very light and easy to handle w/ just one hand, but if you want a serious blower this one is just not powerful enough for most jobs. I was expecting much more power for 150mph - maybe the air is moving at that speed, but it is a very small volume of air that comes out of it, so it just doesn't blow enough air to blow things around. I am considering getting the bigger and more powerful GreenWorks 40V G-Max DigiPro model to replace this. Pros: The G-Max 40V battery system is compatible w/ the Greenworks 40V G-Max mower I own, so for me, it was almost worth getting this just for the extra charger and battery which would have cost almost as much if purchased separately. Also, it is handy for light-duty work like blowing out the dust and sand off the floor of the garage and patio and around the front door where I used to clean w/ a broom and/or shop vac before. It is also adequate for blowing light, dry leaves, grass, dry sand/dirt off the driveway and sidewalk for a short distance Cons: For anything that is heavy or clumped, or damp and heavy, it just doesn't have enough power to do the job. It has difficulty blowing heavier things like clumps of freshly cut and damp grass clippings and pine needles. One of the things I was hoping to use this for was gutter cleaning. I used to use a corded blower but the long cord made it hazardous for use on the roof. However, this Greenworks 24252 cordless blower just doesn't have enough power to blow most of the junk in the gutters. Anything denser/heavier than dry oak leaves would not even budge, even when I put the nozzle right up on it - never mind the wet pine needles and damp, decomposing leaves which I ended up having to loosen by hand and scooping up w/ a trowel; the blower was just useful for blowing out the small, loose pieces left behind by the trowel. Summary: all in all, a super lightweight and handy tool for light duty work, but don't expect a powerful workhorse. Price is right, considering the value of the included battery and charger, esp. for someone who already owns other G-Max 40V tools and looking to acquire a spare battery and charger cheaply. ... show more

I have changed all my outdoor lawn maintenance equipment to Greenworks. Each item came with a charger and battery. I have back up chargers and spare batteries. The blower get the job done. It runs about 1-1 1/2 hrs. The blower’s battery hold charge. I like the lawnmower too!

    • Complete joke; Greenworks products are overrated!

This is definitely better than my old Black and Decker blower, and lighter too, but the battery only lasts about 15 min, which is still not enough time to blow off driveway, 2 patios, 2 sets of steps, plus sidewalks and curbs. I thought the lithium batteries were supposed to be SO much better, but this just isn't the case...my old B&D battery [not lithium] lasted about the same amount of time, maybe just 5 minutes less. And when the Green Works battery runs out, the blower just stops, and you're screwed, whereas the B&D would keep running, just not as powerful, so at least you could finish up. Also, this blower is definitely not strong enough to blow debris out of a gutter (as I had read somewhere that it was). Based on the weak battery life, you'd have to split your outside clean up days into 2 different days while you wait for the battery to recharge. I've purchased Greenworks products before, and expected a lot more, and it's just too much of a hassle to return, so I'm stuck with it. I did a lot of research before deciding on the GW's blower, and ultimately decided on it because of my past experience with the company, but I'll be rethinking this in the future. Update: I purchased this summer of 2015, and by the end of 2016 the battery was no longer working (im just getting around to updating my review) Since I purchased from Amazon warehouse deals I was out of luck. Essentially, I used the item no more the 10 times, the (joke) Lithium battery or whatever type it was was not kept in a cold garage, and I followed all the rules in terms of the battery, so iultimately, the battery is flawed and Green Works products are faulty and poorly manufactured items., To make matters worse, this was my 2nd Greenworks product; the other was an electric blower/mulcher which lasted only about 2 years, when it just gave out, so it too ended up in the garbage...2 of Greenworks supposedly ‘green’ products are now filling up landfills in less than 2 years time! So, never again will I purchase a Greenworks product...I work too hard to throw money away on disposable electronic yard tools. I also feel that Amazons returns need to be more flexible in situations like this, especially when you are NOT using something year round, you put it away for several months, and then when you go to use it the following year it doesnt work, after which you have no repercussions because you've had the item too long! ... show more
