I love my little hand sander it works as it supposed to even got a little bag on the back that holds all of the dirt in or whatever you sand actually in. I use these for small projects so I'm not sure how they would work on larger items if I was like a carpenter or something. I would say it's very easy to use there are a little bit of vibrations to it It does tend to heat a bit. But not heat enough that it's going to burn you it's just it just gets warm. As for the dust like I said it has a little baggy thingy that hooks up to it that works great for keeping the dust off the items that you're sanding. The little bag actually comes off so that you can empty it and everything so that part for easy removal yet it tends to be a little hard to remove it because it's new, but it comes off rather easily with a little bit of force. To change the sanding pads those are easy not really hard. The quality of the item is like any other Greenworks product. I personally wasn't sure about getting greenworks so I went to Lowe's to actually check them out first. And found that there were better deals on Amazon for bundles. So I purchased the bundles rather than going through Lowe's and purchasing everything singly. I got a better deal with the bundles then with everything singly. This was the only item that was not included in the bundles. It was the only item that I needed that I was missing. And since I have a new house and trying to get everything done this comes in handy with my little woodworking projects. ... show more

This little sander works great. I bought it because I wanted the ability to go to the work without using a long extension cord or having to bring the work to the shop. I chose Greenworks because I have had good success with their cordless tools. I have many items from regular power tools (drill, impact driver, etc) and outdoor tools (hedge trimmer, pole saw [with hedge trimmer attachment], string trimmer, blower/vac, and their 80v pro 21" lawn mower). The sanding pads stick to the Velcro like surface and did not give me any trouble. The sanding pads clung to it and never once ruffled up. I would prefer a single on/off switch because I have a tendency to keep my finger on the on button after starting it instead of moving it to the off button. But that's just me. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is the battery gets in the way of the handle when holding it with two hands. You can see this from one of the photos shown for the product. I can hold it just fine but lose that bit extra from not being able to wrap my fingers around the handle. For the most part, their one-size-fits-all (well, one for each voltage [24v, 40v, 80v]) battery approach works great. It just is a bit over-sized for this tool. ... show more
